Kanaal 2 ( Belgium Television Channel ) cancels Home and Away for one

Hello everyone,

As every Belgium television viewer probably will now on June 9 Kanaal 2 starts showing the Soccer World Cup.

This means that Kanaal Twee will cancel Home and Away for one month. The last episode will be on are screen on June 8. They will start showing new episodes on Monday 3 July 2006.

They will not show extra episodes after the soccer. This means that we will not see the 2004 Season Finale on Monday 31 July 2006 but one month later.

This is the email I received from Kanaal 2 :

Bedankt voor je mail en je interesse voor KANAALTWEE.

De laatste aflevering van je favoriete serie "Home & Away" krijg je te zien op 8

Juni. We starten opnieuw op maandag 3 juli. De afleveringen worden dan gewoon

doorgeschoven. Zo willen we voorkomen dat de vaste kijkers tijdens de

zomervakantie geen afleveringen moeten missen. Vanaf begin juli staat het

programm terug 5x per week op zijn vertrouwd plek omstreeks 18u30

PS: 3 months cause I'm spending the summerbreak in style I will be in Italy in a lagoon(Island but connected to land ) near Venice ( I never been to Venice in these last 10 years but I hope I will be this year )
