tessa305 Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 I didnt really watch the show in the 90s but i did catch the odd episode, and have a few queries about a few things. 1. I remember when Angel was pregnant, she had wanted a brother for her son Dylan for bone marrow because he had leukemia or something, but as shane was the enw baby's father it wasnt a match. I was wondering if Dylans leukemia was ever cured? 2. Did Irene have to dye her hair because peroxide could affect her chances of falling pregnant (when finn asked her to be surrogate)? i find this a bit odd. Can it really affect the baby that much. I hope this is the right place to post. Thanks in advance if anyone is able to answer these questions. If not, no worries! cheers! tess
ste Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 1) Yep, after lots of chemo, Dylan's cancer went into remission. 2) Irene was adviced to stop bleaching her hair for the safety of the baby. Have no idea whether that's really an important factor or not. But I suspect it was just an excuse because Lynne McGranger wanted rid of her blonde look. Maybe the entire storyline only came about because she wanted darker hair! (Chloe's rape storyline only happened because Kristy Wright wanted a haircut).
MarMar Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 It is true, though, you should not dye your hair while pregnant. (Not with those normal dyes, anyway)
claire_louise Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 It was after she became pregnant, though, because the chemicals might harm the baby. Not because it affected her chances of conceiving. PS. Angel's baby also turned out to be a girl, so it wouldn't have been a match anyway. They named her Shane...very odd.

Thats sooooo wierd!! All i remember is that the guy who did it was the guy who was in neighbours who left annalise at the alter to become a priest!!! I think he was some sort of detective or something in H&A... Does anyone know roughly what year this storyline occured?
katya Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 That's so freaky! I was just having a conversation with my boyfriend about whether you could dye your hair when you're pregnant! Spooky.

MarMar Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 I would give my right arm to see that storyline again.
tessa305 Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 ok, thankyou very much. All that info was very helpful. I find it very stange that they have to have storylines for the actors to cut their hair. Couldnt the characters just feel like a change, like jade sutherland did? Mercury girl: i saw the episode that chloe cut her hair on summerbayjournal.com if that is of any use. Id love to see both these storylines again, as i dont really remember them, but as they were shown before the golden age of digital recording, etc, i doubt we'll be able to unless they're repeated.
