Did anyone notice, in addition to new titles the advert for wheetos also changed? I thought that was quite funny, as I thought only UK viewers get that promo...

Yeah, those sponsorship stings are exclusive to the UK. I guess it was just coincidence that the ad changed the same day as the opening titles.

I was actually pleased that the announcer acknowledged that this was the season return, and explained the longer-than-usual recap.

Me too - I dont think they have ever done that before have they? ITV certainly didnt when they showed it

Rich, I think it's best if someone from the UK/Aus could have a look at the episodes with Duncan/Jade+drugs to see. I don't think they were cut at all. They are on the server, and clearly markes. The epsiode where the car goes over the cliff top is marked as "Cliff+car=bad" as well as the episode number, and can be found in the 2004 folder.

I remember listing the cuts to the two Jade and Duncan 'drug' episodes here on the forum, but that thread was lost for good when the board crashed last year. However, my summary of the cuts to the car crash episode are still on the main site here. Not mentioned in my original summary was the shot of Seb being thrown from the bonnet, making seven cuts in all on Five.

I remember these epsidoes were cut (or bits from them) in the UK because it was back then that I joined the boards (I think it was one of the reasons I joined lol) Also what i posted before was an email i recieved back from Five after I had complained to them. They mentioned the bit about seb being chucked from the bonnet which no one else had noticed.

They probably weren't (like usual) cut in Norway though lol.
