Does Ireland show that final frame, that always used to have the website address and AOL7 on it, as well as the copyright caption and date?

We see al the end credits. Then the 7 logo pops up with someone saying "Seven".

I wish we would have the promos here too.. So, I think I will e-mail the company.

Good idea.....I might do that for us too...

Well hallmark shows sevens all saints promos from 1999 at the end of ep before the credits doesnt say seven just says next week.

I know it's been discussed before but the bloke who gets up and walks away at the end is Kip Gamblin (Scott) so I took it as an in joke that we saw him walk away at the end of his last ep, particularly as it seemed easier to tell it was him.

Because they are not part of the show. They are put on by the TV station.

How come we saw the promo around the time of the Mirigini disaster, when Kirsty, Kane & Shelley were missing in the bush? Did Five produce that?

I don't think five would want to show the Aussie end credits with the promos - as it would mean they would not be able to talk over them and advertise their next programme.

I'm sure Five would have produced that. In some cases, producers provide a buying station with some 'clean' scenes from the show (ie. without incidental music or on-screen graphics) for them to use in promos. Or Five could make up the promo just by extracting scenes from the episode itself.

Well, if they did get the promos they could play them in a full-screen format before the closing credits, like Seven used to do.

It is actually very rare for promos to be sold along with a show. It's down to the network (Five in this case) what storylines/scenes they want to use in promos and it's up to them what format this promo should take. Different markets will react differently to different styles of promos.

It's the same in Australia. Seven Productions (the producers of H&A) provide the Seven Network (the broadcasters) with a clean copy of the episode (as explained above) and the Seven Network make up the promos using this. It's totally up to Channel Seven how to promote the show (regardless of whether or not 'they' produced it) and I guess that's why we so often feel cheated by Seven's misleading promos and voiceovers (eg. 'Someone dies in the cyclone'). It's not the writers or producers who are conning us, it's the ratings-hungry network!

I don't think Five would ever air the Seven promos in the same way that Seven does not air US stations promos for the US shows that screen here.

For example, Seven does not air ABC US's Desperate Housewives or Lost promos, they make their own versions.

However, sometimes Seven just copies the American channels promo, ie they pick the same scenes to run (or are provided with a 'clean' promo) but Seven then does their own voiceover, but uses the same words except for the time and day at the end, etc.
