Cat123 Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 Who doesn't sing along?! The full length version is on my mp3 player!!
Si-Co Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 I remember bursting out into the Home and Away song about a year ago, on the way back from Edinburgh on a train. About 80 of us from work went there on a treasure-hunt, one of those 'team-building' events (read as ****-up) and I decided to entertain the whole of Coach A most of the way back. Other memorable ditties were 'Leaving on a Jet Plane' and 'Dream a Little Dream of Me'. Bless.
ste Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 Haha! Me and my sister used to sing the male/female parts when we were very young. And I remember once trying to play it on the keyboard, but I could only do the verses, i got stuck when it got the chorus (hold me in your arms..).
Emmadolly Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 LoL. My step-daughter and her mates are usually here with us at 6 pm when it airs. We all join in and have a sin along, they are all fifteen, and my 5 year old and 3 year old join in.
Gypsy & Will Fan Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 So glad our family wasn't the only ones that used to sing to the theme tune, it was me, my mum, my brother and my sister! Remote controls as microphones! We really went for it!
Ryan Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 I remember when River City advertised using Jennifer's Rush and I got the song stuck in my head. People with knowledge of that song will know the slight problem when I was humming it.
Frankie Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 Yep...that tune was made for singing along too...it has great hook...but I agree the original version is by far the best for singing along too...and I think if someone asked me to sing it I would automatically sing that version.
griseknoen Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 I always sing along when H&A is on. That`s why I always close my doors right before I know it`s comming on, so my neighbours don`t hear me
ste Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 French and Saunders Sketch http://youtube.com/watch?v=79VtyZcNdP0&sea...0saunders%20tic Singing the theme song while on ecstacy. Afterwards it turns out the ecstacy tablet was a tic-tac.
rcoleman_uk Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 LOL like the sketch. Dawn French is soo much better in the Vicar of dibley though. I just loved the wedding episode where the woman walks in and interups the ceremony before realising shes in the wrong church!
