Self-righteous parents can be so annoying, can't they? They always have to blame someone. How can anyone keep their eyes on a child every second? I'm sure Leah has taken her eyes off VJ often enough; when anyone comes round she makes them drinks and talks to them, often while VJ is in another room. VJ should have been taught not to eat or drink anything without asking. Also, it's a bit surprising he didn't find the taste nasty, as Cassie did.

Leah's at as much fault as Dan is. She knew he was drunk (or at least was drinking), yet she still irresponsibly left him in Dan's care.

I think she's only being harsh on Dan because he was snogging the Zoe!Omen.

Totally agree on the whole Leah/Dan/VJ situation. I don't like Leah at the best of times, but she was even worse last night.

The only other thing I can think of that I noticed was how much that Dom guy looked like a hobbit... Maybe it's just me. :)

I suppose it's true that Leah is as much as responsible as Dan and I think she was way too hard on him (Dan's just like an ickle boy LoL) but they had to set the story up to make Dan feel as bad as possible and for Leah to have a right to ask him for a divorce.

I might be the only one, but I thought Leah was in the right. Dan said he was up to looking after VJ and then fell asleep with a hangover while the kid was in his care. Not to mention leaving alcohol within easy reach of a four year old. For once I didn't mind her ranting and raving! It is hard not to feel sorry for Dan, but he acted like a prat.

I agree. When Leah walked in, Dan forced himself to be lively, when he knew he wasn't. Wouldn't he have preffered to say 'I'm sorry but I don't feel 100% and that's not how I want to feel when being responsible for a child?" I also don't understand why Kim just left him, he could see how worse for wear dan was.

I have to agree, Dan knew fine well he was in no fit state to look after a child, and he went ahead and did it anyway. Normally Leah really irritates me, but I can totally understand her getting annoyed - I mean, her son did almost die! Tonight's episode was rather strange - what is with the random bullying for no reason? People can be soo mean! (And yes, that Dom does look like a Hobbit lol!)

Rachel's dad showing up was just weird - what's he doing there, and wouldn;t he call his daughter and tell her he was coming? Or did that little detail just slip his mind? Shocking behaviour!

Other thing I feel the need to rant about - this accident Dan's in? Came out of nowhere, to say the least! He wasnt even in the whole episode, and suddenly he's been in an accident? Usually they build up to this kind of thing, but it was a total bolt from the blue. And why would they call Kim and tell him about it? I mean, fair enough they do live together, but as Leah and Dan are still married, you would think she'd be the first one contacted. Or maybe even Peter, being his brother, since he supposedly lives nearby - although we've yet to see any evidence of this - but not Kim! Dan's only lived there for about a week - would he really have changed his emergency contact details that quickly? I don't think so somehow!

I was a bit shocked that he (Dan) wasn't even shown in the entire episode, and then it's suddenly discovered that he's been in an accident

I really hate that Dom guy, what a jerk. I don't see why he has to make life so difficult for Ric. I'd give the little brat a piece of my mind (well, in theory, but I'd probably be too scared to actually do it).
