And now she's gone halfway round the world?? And doesn't Ryan have a school to go to? Yeah but then she got cleared of Josh's Murder because her car was at a red light at the other side of town when Josh was killed.
zozalina Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 I'm glad Alf is finally free. I was hoping the poor guy wouldn't get punished. I felt bad for Robbie yesterday when he lost his assignment, but then I felt bad for Tasha after Robbie said she ruined his life :S
claire_louise Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 I thought Tasha was incredibly selfish when she was asking Robbie to leave his assignment and come to bed. That annoyed me. Today's ep was a lot better though, and I'm really pleased that they're addressing both Robbie and Tasha's issues about the baby. I was worried when they seemed to come to terms with things so quickly. Beth and Tasha's scenes were particularly good and made me wish that they used Beth in this way more often. She used to be great when she was giving Kirsty motherly advice, but we don't see so much of that side of her now. It reminds me of Pippa in the old days (a good thing!).
Guevara01 Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 I hate to admit it but today's episode brought tears to my eyes. I love it when Beth is motherly towards Tasha. I also like how they've shown that Robbie wasn't just all la-di-da about the baby, he actually did have doubts and fears. When Tasha was crying in the bedroom, it was obvious that it was just a realisation about the burden on Robbie and that she wasn't bitter towards him. I feel sorry for both of them in this, the bit that made me really feel for Tash was when she said "You think it's my fault too" (The teary eye bit!) and it was approached very sensitively and with great maturity from Isabel IMO. Alf's scenes today were unnecessary and somewhat strained. I didn't think they didn't have their usual appeal. Morag's face at the end when that guy told her he knew who the killer was ... priceless. Peter is being a pain in my ass at the moment. What a complete *forlackofabetterword* twit. I know he wants to catch Josh's killer and it must be annoying being that incompetant, but did he have to do that 'lets go see Alf to get something out of Morag' thing. Eurgh. Plus side, no Leah today. Downside, where the hell is Sally?! She needs to make the show make sense again. Morag said today, "Ric's eating us out of house and home" - it isn't their house, Ric is the only one who actually lives there!! xxx

I'm glad Robbie told Beth & Tony, who both needed to know. + Is anyone else hoping that guy who was in prison with Alf will show up and see Alf again? I thought their friendship was quite sweet and the way Alf was worrying about him was heartbreaking. + I can think of another word to describe Peter and it comes close to twit. Just change the letter i with something else. + The Hunter/Holden household is quite funny. A good move.
Ryan Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 I didn't see Friday's episode, but, several of the early episodes this week were good, light hearted moved things along a bit whilst this whole ~Josh~ malarky has still to be solved. However, the Josh storyline seemed to be completely forgotten about, Peter, Jack and the other three seemed to get nowhere this week, even it was given just 10 minutes this week, and didn't move forward, it would be nice to see that there was still an attempt to solve it. Amanda has become a better character since the end of P56. I actually feel like I know who she is now, rather than some crappy stereotype. You know my thoughts on the Alf storyline.

Then she has the nerve to ask him to give a massage! Grrr! Oh and loving Morags glasses.

We've seen more of Coleen than Sally though.
