TabbyCool Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Yeah, I felt sorry for Leah too, if Dan and Amanda hadn't kissed, maybe Leah and Dan could have tried to work at their marriage, Leah clearly wants to and Dan still has feelings for Leah too. Plus, I hate Amanda and hate seeing her gain the upper hand in any situation! And yeah, I have to agree with everyone who says Morag is the best, she's awesome! I love her attitude when she's being interviewed or questionned, she's just so blunt!
Tulip Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 I think Morag and co are being very harsh to Peter, all "why are you questioning me?"; he's only doing his job! And Tony making Jack "bend the rules" - so many times he's told his son to be honest (the stake-out when Jack had a bad ear???) and yet now he's being a total hypocrite! Also, in all these storylines there are so many opportunities for Matilda and Lucas to act couple-y but are they? Noooooo.
tonywilson Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 I can't believe how long we have to wait to find out who killed Josh, I mean, I already know who did it, but so many storylines (stalker, paternitygate, project 56) have been dragged out for too long recently, it just gets boring after a while. I'm about 5 episodes behind and am really finding it hard to get through them, what should be a really exciting storyline just seems dull. Everythings seems a lot slower this year, maybe it's my fault 'cos I'm so excited for the return of the stalker.

I thought the stalker storyline was the most tedious storyline ever (after paternitygate). It seemed to drag on forever and I totally lost interest by the end. It was good for a while, but I got really bored of it. The last stalker episode was good, but a lot of the stuff in the middle was just a bit repetitive. I'm not sure about having Zoe/Eve returning, it just seems a bit unrealistic that she didn't die in the explosion when we all saw how Sally locked her in the room before she escaped. Lucas and Mattie? It's sometimes easy to forget they are a couple at all, they act more like brother and sister!

If I didn't know any better and just put H&A on, I would think they were brother and sister. There was a big build up to their relationship with the play and everything, but since that, they've hardly spent any time together.

I know, Lucas just seems like a replacement for Henry, he and Mattie just don't act like a couple. Ric and Cassie were like that for a while too, there was a build-up to their relationship, they had a lot of chemistry but Cassie had issues due to her abuse as a child. Ric was really sweet and supportive of her, saying that he didn't want to pressure her and would wait until she was ready for a relationship. They shared their first kiss, then started behaving like brother and sister rather than a couple. They have their little phases every now and again, like when they first slept together, when Cassie found Belle in Ric's room and stuff like that, but generally they didn't act like a couple very much at all.
zozalina Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 Yeah, I mean I don't expect them to be kissing and hugging all through the episode, but it seems like they hardly ever even speak or look at each other, except if something major happens between them, like you said with Ric and Cassie.
Robina Fox Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 About Matilda and Lucas: There's a time in many a teenager's life when they know they are "supposed" to have a boyfriend or girlfriend, and think they're a failure without one; their friends are "pairing off" and they feel like a spare part. If they are just not ready, or haven't met the right person, it is good for them to have a friend of the opposite sex to hang about with who doesn't put pressure on them. Maybe they'll get intimate later, maybe not.
Tulip Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 Yeah, I hope so. I just think maybe Lucas would be supporting Matilda a bit more. Her grandpa has died (Lucas is excused for that, he did hug her twice), her brother could have gone to jail, her mum is probably struggling, her best friends are fighting... We hardly even see Lucas and Matilda together. They are two great characters and a great couple, I just think we should see more of them as a couple and not just hanging around the storyline. Also, aren't those mentions of the stalker spoilers?
