I'm always prepared to allow for a bit of artistic license - it is a soap, after all - but they're stretching it way too far. It's a shame because the basic idea was a good one, and from what I've heard the outcome is good and not a cop-out as it usually is, but all the stuff in between has been pretty rubbish.

The Dan/Amanda kiss was totally fake and came right out of the blue. I mean, there was, like, one scene about a week ago where they had a "moment", but other than that, I don't understand how they ended up kissing.
Reo Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Do you guys watch eastenders? did you see carly and jake last night,they were in a fight with this other guy and landed ontop of each other and then went in for the kiss.. Its like there is some law like gravity where if you fall ontop of someone or your face is closer than 5 inches apart then you have to kiss.. At least amanda and dan do have a past together,their break-up was over dan's gambling,so i dont think they fell out of love..its more believable than some other people kissing.

Other than that the episode didn't do much for me: - Dan and Amanda were just weird, Dan was totally out of character. - Rachel and Hugh, what on earth! They had no chemistry yet they were supposed to be friends!

They are just friends, they don't need a lot of chemistry, they just need to get on well. I can't believe how long we have to wait to find out who killed Josh, I mean, I already know who did it, but so many storylines (stalker, paternitygate, project 56) have been dragged out for too long recently, it just gets boring after a while.

It has been OK so far but I think when it all comes to a head it will be a bit of an anti climax. Dan and Amanda kissing so unreal and felt sorry for Leah seeing them. Morag is the best!!
