Where did she decide to go btw and what alerted the travel agent that something was wrong? What were the odds that Roo would choice that exact loo in such a big airport eh?

She decided to go to Broome (in Australia) when she looked at the poster on the wall (I think that was the correct name). The travel agent was correct to pick up on Marilyn's insecurities and change of mind. London, then Broome????

What was completely stupid in today's episode was that the police got the numer of Marilyn's car and knew from the travel agent that she as going to the airport to catch a plane to Broome. How come no police car stopped her on the way to the airport, a half-hour drive? How come no police were waiting at Broome check-in? just a wonderful coincidence that Roo and Marilyn were at the same loo!!!!!

Charlie seemed to be hanging around Brax like some love sick puppy. She is so far gone that I didn’t even bat an eyelid when she decided to look for Marilyn unofficially rather than going through the proper channels. As much as Marilyn has annoyed me and the way she was quite prepared to steal Nicole’s baby, part of me still hopes she doesn’t get into any real trouble. I’m not sure what I good it would do TBH. I do think she needs some sort of help though.

Quite liking the stuff with Elijah and Laura and it actually brought a wry smile to my face after he helped Laura and ignored Roo as I’m not that keen on her anyway.

I agree that Marilyn would never harm George but she needs to be stopped and I was a bit annoyed with Sid for getting Charlie to look into it unofficially.I think Nicole's been a bit too reasonable throughout this whole thing so I was glad when she finally snapped and shouted at Sid and I hope she does the same to Marilyn.(That said, I do agree with English Invader's comment that Sid wouldn't have been able to do anything to stop this.I don't think he'd even have needed to throw Marilyn out, I think if he'd told her that he didn't want himself and his children involved in something so disastrous she'd have walked out on him and persuaded Nicole to let her raise George on her own.)Waiting until the next morning, when Marilyn was supposed to hand George over, before informing the police wasn't too unreasonable, I suppose.Smart of the travel agent to pick up on it, shame the police were typically rubbish and just ambled casually down the street while Marilyn made her slow motion getaway.I assume/hope they've got someone waiting at the airport.Actually found myself agreeing with Colleen's fantasy that she's lying in a ditch.Whether Marilyn returns George voluntarily or is forced to do so, I doubt Nicole will press charges and in fact I doubt anything will happen to her as a result, legally or medically, except losing George and possibly Sid.

Indigo says that Irene and Colleen have known Marilyn the longest. If you mean they've spent the most amount of time living in the Bay at the same time as her, probably. If you mean who met her first, Morag and Roo both met her two or three years before Irene.Of course, Indi doesn't necessarily know that...

Not sure if we were meant to dislike Laura, with her(actually pretty accurate)sarcastic commentary on Marilyn and her lack of concern for Nicole and Angelo.I like her anyway and, although I like Roo, I did find Elijah helping Laura over the fence and into the car and not thinking to do the same for her rather amusing.

Again, not sure about Angelo keeping quite about Charlie and Brax, with Charlie once again coming up with transparent excuses to talk to him.As Angelo says, Charlie breaking up with Brax is one thing, Charlie staying broken up with Brax is another thing entirely. As it turns out, she didn't last the day.

Agree that Marilyn was annoying in Friday's episode, but I think her behaviour can be excused by her total despair. She wasn't thinking rationally - she was a Mother who had just learned she was to lose her son (that's how she sees George) and no woman would react calmly to that news.

Welll put, exactly my thoughts :D

Thanks Miranda! I just find myself feeling so sorry for Marilyn, I well-up at most of her scenes with George at the moment - who knows what I'll be like when she hands him back to Nicole. Don't get me wrong I feel for Nicole too - she must be so worried that she will never see George again after all that has happened.

English Invader - you're right that Sid can't be held entirely to blame for the whole situation (Marilyn, despite her childlike character is very determined and would probably have done it anyway) I just think he should have tried a bit harder to prepare Marilyn for losing George. I actually thought that he stood up for her really well in yesterday's episode - begging Nicole to give Marilyn a chance to bring him home before getting the police involved was very loyal. I'm glad that Roo found Marilyn before the police caught up to her, and really hope she'll now do the right thing.

Charlie was utterly pathetic yesterday with regards to Brax - definitely more like a teenager than Ruby! That being said - I am glad the break up didn't last long, I can't resist these two!

Yeah, me too. People often don't realise the emotion involved in this situation and they say 'why didn't Marilyn/ Nicole do this or that? Why do they keep changing their minds all the time?' As if they are thinking logically and coldly about it, instead of instinctively feeling motherly about a BABY!

I haven't watched Home and Away in a while but watched the UK episode today and felt so angry about how this whole situation has been handled with Nicole and Marilyn. My heart absolutely broke for Marilyn; I'm not going to condemn her at all for what she's done, she was desperate to keep hold of a little boy she was told for months before he was even born that he was hers and I completely understand why she felt she had to do what she did.

Sid - I can't even get started on him. Is there an I hate Sid club because I want to join it; he should be defending Marilyn for the simple fact that she's his partner even though he might not agree with her actions. When he came home and started screaming at her and asking if she had "anything she wanted to say ie an apology" I almost screamed at the TV. I hope their relationship doesn't last because Marilyn deserves so much better than him. Roo disgusts me also.

I think what didn't help my anger was seeing Nicole's reaction. Don't get me wrong I feel that if a biological mother does want her baby and it is safe for him then that should be the best option. But I don't believe Nicole's been sensitive to Marilyn's feelings at all or what she's put her through and the way they both wandered off (I won't even start on Nicole and Angelo being a totally random and in my opinion unbelievable couple) with everyone's blessings all happy as if what they've done and the way they've done it is perfectly just made me angry.

And on a totally superficial note; seeing Sid give Nicole all of George's stuff to also made me angry. Marilyn didn't have a chance to keep anything of his to remember him by and I thought it was a cheek of Nicole to accept it to be honest. Take their son away from them and all his stuff.

I thought it was a nice touch to see Indi become so upset to, she's also lost a brother.

Maybe I should carry on staying away from Home and Away :P

Well I cried my eyes out when Roo took George away from poor Marilyn and she was left alone in the farmhouse. I think if I was in her position with someone taking away the baby I'd thought of as mine, I'd have killed myself.

And Sid! I quite agree with Charmed60, he should be comforting Maz not shouting. How awkward was that dinner with them, alone without their baby :( A house with a baby suddenly gone is so awful.

Can't see a future for Sid and Maz now. I hope she finds someone more suitable than Sid for her.

Baby George/s seems to be a natural actor! He/she was smiling in his sleep when Marilyn tickled his cheek, and looking wide eyed at Sid when Nicole was holding him.

A quick exit for Angelo and Nicole, I liked the scene of them holding George saying goodbye to the Bay. Angelo really seems to be in control though, he was hurrying them away  . I think their relationship has been done convincingly, from when she first admired him shirtless at Roo's house to now. Slow and not abrupt.

Liked Laura's admission of how she was a mess inside to Elijah and their various chats, Elijah being Mr Smooth and them finally snogging

But in general, a sad and horrible episode. I hope the next one is happier.

That was a very sad episode. :cryingsmiley: Didn't think Nic would press charges, she's not vindictive. Thanks for the reply about it being Broome where Marilyn said she was going, though it was mentioned again today. The police were pretty slow off the mark, though Marilyn did dodge them at the airport and I suppose would have been waiting at the other end. I guess they didn't chase her because of George being in the car and didn't want to spook her. Roo did a good job of persauding her to go back home and it would have been too much for Marilyn to hand him over, that quiet goodbye was better. In two minds whether it was a good idea that Sid and Indi had already taken George's stuff over to Angelo's, in one way it would have been upsetting for Marilyn to do it, but perhaps they should have asked Roo to let her know they had done it, then it wouldn't have been such a shock. Poor Dex though didn't get a chance to say goodbye did he? Angelo and Nic leaving so quickly may have been for the best at least Marilyn won't run the risk of running into them. trust Colleen to bring up Nic's rather racy past, did lighten the mood a bit. :D Sid could have comforted Marilyn when she brought up the fact she had now lost two babies instead of just standing there, but what has happened hasn't just affected Marilyn, it's all of them. There is going to be a big George shaped hole in all their lives. Although Nic never voiced her doubts to Marilyn, she would have picked up on them and I guess chose to ignore them.

More tomorrow.

I'm really not warming to Laura. One Roo is more than enough - two of them is hideous! I don't think she and Elijah are suited either - I would have preferred Elijah and Leah to get back together (not keen on the idea of Leah and Miles and never have been, though it was inevitable from the start that it would happen at some point).

If you're that angry from today's episode, maybe you should.. ;)

I'm not really surprised Sid was angry with Marilyn.

Sure it was desperate times for her, but she took off and planned to leave with no thought for Sid, Indi or Dex who have all gone through a hell of a lot in Marilyns desire to have a baby.

I'm not surprised he was slightly angry/upset/hurt. I know I would be..

Truly gutted to see Nicole and Angelo walk away from the Bay in today's episode. Will not be the same without either of them - I really hope they both return one day soon.
