100%me Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 I can't believe it. Graham has just found out about that coniving b**ch (Amanda) and he goes and has a heart attack! Grrr! And Amanda didn't even bother calling 999 (or whatever the Australian emergency services are!). Grr! But Flynn's videos were so sweet, they were making me cry all over again! I didnt like the way they did that with Graham he knows what Amanda's like and he confront her.Mind you if they did that there wouldnt be the future story lines with them both.
h&acouples Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 Another great perfromance from Kate , i loved the bit when she saw flynn video and sobs uncontabbly , amanda is a cow and didn't bother to call the ambulance , but it was funny when he was trying tonirratate josh and amanda , i loved it when he said"bit on the side".

I'm really disappointed about what they've done with Amanda. I think it would have been much better for her character if she'd rung an ambulance. Graham could still have died and it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the storyline, but it would have made Amanda much more three-dimensional and therefore interesting. If they always intended to bring her in as an out-and-out baddie, they should have made her a lot more scary.

Amanda ringing the ambulance would have made it a lot less dramatic. This way, it reaffirmed her evil-ness and reminded viewers that she wasn't a nice person. I think too much of her nice side is shown; we know too much about her. This way, we were reminded that Amanda doesn't care about Graham and it's all an act. Not ringing the ambulance gave her time to find Josh or whatever.
