They have set up the episode next week with some fantastic scenes. Ric and Cassie are so much better characters with Sally and Flynn. They are a great family. Hope Belle feels guilty.

I did like Belle until she just left him there. Who does that! Ric made me laugh when he got the food for Belle and he told Pippa to shh. That was really funny!

Belle heard was about to phone for an ambulance and then heard Alf walking in.

So she didn't really leave him on his own.

That's true. I would have stuck around though. It would have been so much easier to explain what happened and that she didn't mean it, and that she just panicked then to have to carry the secret around for the rest of her life.

Ric and Cassie will be so much angirier now than if she'd just told them straight away. Mind you Cassie would still be angry at her coming again but she could hardly have done anything about it with Flynn dying. I guess the writers want the focus to be on Flynn now, not Belle, Ric and Cassie's little fued!

I agree with that. That's what I don't get. Cassie seems more concerned about Belle and Ric's friendship at the minute and that makes it worse for Sal and Flynn. They dont need Ric and Cassie's silly little arguments.

That's true, but surely they're just being typical teenagers? Of course their main concern is Flynn and they're devastated (Belle excluded) about his condition, but kids at that age also have a lot going on in their own lives and are preoccupied with stuff that seems trivial to other people. It might not always seem appropriate but I think it's realistic.

That is a good point. To Cassie it must seem really important and I guess they didn't know that Flynn was getting much sicker at that point. I also think maybe Cassie sees a bit of herself in Belle. Maybe that's why Ric's a bit cautious: because he knows that it was the rebellious streak in Cassie that he was attracted to and that's what he likes about Belle.

I don't like her name though. Sorry to anyone called Belle but I don't really like the name!

I think the Belle thing will subside for a bit, then she will trigger off something, like maybe she will make Cassie really mad or something. She's quite fiery, is Cass.

You're right, actually. Remember when Cassie first joined and she had that outgoing, funky, dare-devil attitude? That was why Ric fell for her. I think Ric preferred Cassie when she was full of energy and a bit of a dare-devil.
