There just doesn't seem to be a logical explanation for their actions or beliefs? (And I'm very into logical explanations at the moment, I'm looking for them everywhere!) Did anyone else find that voice from under the ground freaky? It just sent a chill down my spine when I was watching it....

So to sum it up, their motivation is that they're crazy.

It feels like the story has just been plonked there for the sake of it, for ratings or whatever, without thinking how to make it credible. Just my personal opinion. Lack of believeability aside, I'm kinda enjoying the storyline at the moment (even though I know what's going to happen 'cos I've read the Australian Episode Summaries *kicks self*).
