I'm starting to enjoy 'The Believers' storyline (even though I've kinda spoiled it for myself because I read about it when it was airing in Australia - but I guess that it's just my own stupid fault really LOL), but the one thing that's really starting to grate on me is the way that Mumma Rose calls Tasha 'Tarsha'. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

I'm really not sure about this week in the U.K. There have been some good scenes overall, but in general the show i feel has not been too good this week. I am also not really sure about the believers storyline. it sounds like it could be promising, but is quite simply not captivating me at the moment. In general i feel that the show has been a lot better in recent week, others may disagree.

I also think that this week should be superb in regards to the finale, and whats coming next! Hopefully i won't be let down!

I'm loving the start of this Believers' storyline. I will admit to being a Robbie/Tasha fan though. I liked the info Jack provided us with about 'Mumma Lily' and the Leading Light (or whatever it was) cult.

I liked the way its been set up, and also like Robbie and Tasha myself, but find it very unconvincing as well a a little tedious. It hasn't really grabbed me. I did like the scene where the epsiode closed with fire over Jonah's face, it was a good and satisfactory ending, but I feel that story needs a bit more oomph to get it going. I know it hasn't had much time yet, but to me it is missing something!

Well i hope it gets better! As for Graham and Amanda, again this to me seems very unconvincing. Something just isn't right with Graham cutting himself off the way he has. I did however, love the scene with Tony, Lucas. Beth and Matilda. I liked the intercuts particularly.

I think we need to try and get more discussion going about the episodes, really have some debates, fight for what you like, what others don't. It will make the enjoyment factor significantly more in my opinion if we discuss events as things unfold on screen. Not just generally, but by pinpointing apsects of the show. At the moment we are really just saying i liked/didn't like the episode and individual bits are some pin pointed but we don't really discuss them in depth. Would it not be good to get into the characters minds, and fight for what we believe. For example Hayley/Scott and Kim. Who is more in the wrong. This thread has a lot of potential. I feel we should use it!

Edit: I have realized that this sounds like I am trying to force people to debate-i'm not, i'm just trying to encourage discussion! I think this and the Australian thread have a lot going for them, but could be even better if we try to actually discuss the elements of the show more. Sorry if i offended anyone. *Inserts an anxious smiley.*

I'm finding The Believers storyline a bit unbelievable. It seems so out of character for Tasha to just ignore Robbie and believe Jonah, whom she has only known for a couple of weeks. I know she is very trusting and naiive and everything, but you'd think she'd believe Robbie over some guy she just met.

Robbie is going along with it now though. He raised objections at first, but she thought it was just because he didn't know a lot about them. Then they had their dinner where he said they weren't so bad, so it sort of spurred her on i guess.

I don't think he has objected to them since. It's only Martha and (sort of) Jack at the moment. Robbie may have said it's weird, but that's all.

Ok, I keep forgetting I'm a week ahead. Robbie is only going along with it because it's what Tash wants though, it's not like he really wants to go and live in a tent with a bunch of strangers.

I'm reserving judgement on the Believers storyline. I'm not overly keen so far. While I don't mind them recycling the storyline - it's been ten years after all - I can't help comparing it to Selina/Saul. This time around it seems a lot more obvious and predictable. I do think that Tasha is the perfect choice for something like this though, and it's a good opportunity for Isabel to prove that she can do more than look pretty. I don't think it's out of character for her not to believe Robbie over Jonah, as she's always been incredibly naive and susceptible to manipulation. She feels connected to the group because it reminds her of her upbringing, which makes it even easier for them to brainwash her. However, I really hope they take it in a different direction to the Selina storyline and do something interesting with it.
