DEBBY Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I AM REALLY ENJOYING THE ACTING AND FEEL ALL OF THE CHARACTERS ARE BELIEVABLE IN THEIR ROLES BUT WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT ONE OF THE REASONS H&A IS POPULAR IS BECAUSE IT IS NOT LIKE REAL LIFE AND SHOWS ALOT OF HUMOUR WHICH IS WHAT WE NEED> SO DON'T MAKE THE STORYLINES TOO REAL LIFE AS I GET ENOUGH OF THAT IN RAINY ENGLAND!

Ryan Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I'm actually not enjoying the show at the moment, in fact I've watched one episode of the last ten, there's just something about it that is turning me off. The Graham/Amanda storyline is just so stupid and horribly contrived, Kim/Scott and Hayley is just going through the motions now and I'm yet to be convinced about the believers. Unlike 2002 which seemed to be building up to a crescendo as the year came to a close this one seems to be plodding along.

lou le belle Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I agree too, usually I watch it all the time and if I miss an episode I usually watch it the following day when im home for lunch, but lately im just not too bothered about it...I think here in the UK things are just a bit slow at the moment; hopefully it will pick up again soon.
Frankie Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 I agree too. It must be catching...lol...however, I do think that things started to pick up in the Australian episodes this year. There are always going to be things we love and things we don't but the end of last year on Oz was an anticlimax, as was the begining of the year. It has picked up though and they seem to be trying to get a better balance between the big impact, smash bang wallop, OTT crappy US soap style storylines, and the slower more character based ones.

And Sally with her underwear! Tim Campbell played a blinder today as well! I'm really enjoying Dan at the moment. (Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to Lily too! LOL)
Guevara01 Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 Today's episode was Bl*ody brillant, none of the Josh/Amanda/Graham rubbish they have been palming us off with recently. Back to the close-knit storylines. I loved the fact that the only people at Flynn and Sally's ceremony were Ric and Cass, Alf and Colleen. Not Leah or anyone. Showed how personal it was. I thought Sharni was cracking today actually, same with Kate who shone as usual. I loved the bit with Clown!Dan, cringe-worthy but good, clean fun. Leah should get over herself though. Also, I didn't know Sally could use her underwear for her 'new' and 'blue', not surprised she passed up anything 'borrowed' from Colleen though. xxx
