It doesnt seem like he isnt bothered with it,He doesnt show much of a emotion to get away..And he just so easily plays along with what Johnny wants,We all know its because Johnny is a mean guy,But they should have moment where it shows he is having a hard time doing all this,But it doesnt show it.

When he found out about Drew/Amanda, Peter gave his son this huge lecture about how he, too, had been sucked in by Amanda, but that she just uses people. And then once he makes sure they're well and truly split up, he gets it together with Amanda. I'm actually quite a fan of the Panda relationship in isolation, but I don't like what Peter has done. Does that make sense? I really can't stand Peter at the moment. One second he's telling Drew to stay away from Amanda and a week later he's in "love" with her. He had an affair with Amanda when she was married to Peter, he tried it on Leah when she was with Peter and now he's got back together with Amanda after everything she's done to Peter & Drew. He's actually a bit of a scumbag I do feel for Rocco, but why the heck did he hide the plans? That made no sense at all. It's not like Johnny would have been mad at him for not doing it and Johnny would have been jailed if the police found those plans. Silly boy.

Cant believe hes only 19 though! I had to do a double take when he said he was 19! Sams hiding something, or should i say kylies hiding something.... hmmmmmmm

Well you can't help who you fall in love with, Peter and Amanda have a history. Peter was very angry about Drew and Amanda, and so would anyone considering the age gap and the fact that Drew is still at school. I like Peter and Amanda together and hope they really make a go of it, but I can't see it happening cause Peter knows too much about Amanda and I doubt he will ever be able tofully trust her. If he is honest I rekon he still loves Leah and is just settling for second best but thats just my view. xxxx

That's one of the things that make me think he isn't all sweetness and light. I'm sure he really does want to get out of the gang, but I also think there's a small part of him that will miss it. It must be quite reassuring to have that kind of 'family' group and have all these tough guys looking out for you. Plus he definitely has a nasty streak - he's displayed his bad temper on several occasions. Not that I think he's evil or anything, just complex!

Joe has a mum remember, although everyone seems to have conveniently forgotten about her. Didn't Rachel say that Lee was bleeding heavily when she left the hospital and they needed to find her or she could die? They don't seem very bothered about that now!

BUT, I would've thought that Peter would put his son's happiness before his own little whims. If Peter hadn't gone to stay at Amanda's for his "detox" then I doubt the two of them would've got together, anyway. So, therefore, that makes me think that they're not really "in love"; Amanda will totallly abandon him when she gets a better offer. If what you're saying is right, that Amanda is Peter's "second choice", then that makes it even worse! Peter is sacrificing his son's happiness for a woman he doesn't truly love. Sure, it would make things hard for Drew if Pete broke Dan and Leah up (Dan being his uncle, and all) but I'm sure he probably feels stronger about the Amanda situation, given their history.
carmelle Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I was shocked when Kim said he was 19. I would have thought he'd be a bit older by now. Wasn't he around 18 when he came to the Bay? He was about a year older than Robbie right? Kim's speech about being a good parent was nice. I so knew that man was going to turn up as the person from the adoption services and even though I'm happy for Kim and Rachel it's so obvious that things are not going to be so straight forward for them. When Alf walked in with the case of beer I laughed out loud :lo: I didn't think I was going to like Sam (or Kylie) but I do. She's an interesting character and am looking forward to her story. IMO the kid that plays Rory is a good actor and it's good to see Jack have storylines that aren't Martha related. I wish there was more Peter/Drew bonding
