Jack wont ask for help cause he feels like an invalid when people keep fussing over him, you cant blame him for feeling that way though. I wish i could help him. lol I want Martha to wake up to herself and realise how much of an idiot she is for leaving Jack at this terrible time! Johnny got hit today! I have to say though, when i was watching it i had it in my headphones and when Brad took the swing and punched him i jumped *hides from embarrassement*. It was just so out of the blue though

Embrace them! lol No, i cant see how anyone wouldnt feel something for Jack in this current storyline. I hope he will be ok Johnny is pretty great, hes defo lightening things up thats for sure, and the more Brad and Johnny provoke eachother, the greater the show is for us

Emmadolly Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 I watched the episode today, while having a family meal, i could not believe my ears when i heard the words. P***ed my self. Wow, that was two hours fourty mins before the watershed. About time channel five stopped editing the script. I do feel sorry for Jack, as the character is going through trouble, that many real people experience everyday. But i wish he was more convincing at it.

But i wish he was more convincing at it. Erm ok, youve kind of contradicted yourself there. You said you feel sorry for Jack but hes not very convincing, so how come you feel sorry for him? I for one think Pauls doing a great job at this storyline, when i watch him i feel like hes in genuine pain. Like the hospital scene when he was trying to stand up for the first time was very well acted. I think hes incredibly convincing, personally!
Pierced Musie Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 I think what Emma means is that, though she feels sorry for him, he isn't as convincing as he could be. I may be wrong but I think Emma feels this way because she is a nurse and probably deals with this kind of thing regularly.
claire_louise Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 I agree with Emma. Maybe it's the way it's been written, but the whole Jack storyline just seems like a cliche to me. I'm finding it hard to sympathise.
