I actually quite like Ash. He's a bit cocky, but he and Martha are good together. Much better than JM, who just bore me these days. No wonder they're getting divorced - they act as if they've been married for twenty years, not twenty minutes. At least Ash will spice things up a little (even though I'm sure Jack and Martha will be reunited predictably eventually).

To other sick freaks, like us, it could have been a subtle and implied case of rape. But to those who watch H&A through adultlike minds...

He got burnt badly by the gang.

^^It never occured to me that it could have been rape, i just thought there was more to it...

Martha doesn't deserve Ash

And what Johnny said was right - it was rude of Brad to not ask him of he wanted anything, after all he was the uninvited guest

Maybe I'm just sick, because as soon as Brad said that they pinned him down, I instantly thought he might have been raped.

I'm not getting into the Rocco / johhny story at all. I haven't really had time to warm to Rocco and I find Johnny really cheesy and smug and just generally irritating.

Martha and Jack... I can't say I'm that bothered either way really. Martha might be better to watch without Jack, she was quite a good character until they got married and she became all whiney all of a sudden. Jack might be better on his own too, I never particularly found him that interesting, partly because it was so obvious that he was only in the show to be paired up with Martha, but now that he's on his own again he might get some decent non-Martha, non-whiney storylines.

I'm loving Ric and Mattie at the moment, they are both so sweet, the way Ric is trying really hard to impress her is quite amusing though!

Didn't Ash/Martha rush things a bit? I know Jack gave them the go ahead, but obviously he's still hurting. Ash could have at least waited until things calmed down a bit. Am I the only one who thinks these two pairing up is plain wrong?! They both say they're Jack's bf but look at them. Is it really worth hurting your best friend for a girl/guy you've known for a few days? I would never date my friend's ex-boyfriend let alone my best friend's ex-husband!

I thought the whole marriage ending was a bit rushed. I mean, I know Jack had been working late etc etc and it had been going on a while but Martha never talked to Jack about it and all of a sudden she's no longer interested. Then along comes Ash, and straight away their totally into each other. <_< Tis a bit suss to me. (but then I guess that's soaps for you)

Not at all! I completey agree with you. She says she cares about Jacks feelings but then she goes ahead and agrees to see Ash. Ive always thought Martha was quite self-involved though, now im certain she is!

Paul did a great job today, i really felt like he was in pain. And i have to say i admire Jack for thinking more positvely, even if it was due to Sam, beacuse hes been through a heck of alot with the accident, losing his movement in his legs and now Martha and Ash, and he looks like hes starting to deal with it all. I wouldnt have blamed him if he gave up completley (which he nearly did) after everything that hes been through.

As for the whole Martha and Ash thing, it pretty much sickens me! They only think about themselves and barely give a seconds thought for Jack...and it only gets worse, believe me!

Ric and Maddie were cute tonight, but poor maddie, thinking Ric only wants her for one reason. Both Belle and Maddie were thinking the exact same thing tonight.

I personally cant believe Belle would think that about Luke, even just by looking at him you can tell hes not like that

Yes, I agree that they didn't give their marriage a proper chance, but it was fitting for it to end in a rush as that was the way it started. They got married without thinking it through, so neither of them really knew what they were getting themselves into. The fact that Martha has moved on so quickly just goes to show that she and Jack weren't as deeply in love as they thought they were. Love is about knowing a person inside and out, and they hadn't been together for long enough to have that kind of connection.

I'm not saying Jack isn't completely to blame for what's happened, but IMO Martha has called all the shots since day one.

Martha decided that it was time for them to get married

Martha decided that the marriage wasn't working cause Jack was working late and doing what ever else a cop had to do as part of his duty

Martha decided that they needed a trial separation

Martha decided that the trial separation wasn't enough

Martha decided to sleep with a total stranger

Martha decided that the marriage was over

Jack has pretty much gone along with everything Martha decided, so now he should consider himself lucky and enjoy his freedom and get his life back on track, a Martha-free life that is.

I've never been a JM fan, and to me Jack only arrived cause Martha needed to be paired up with someone. Now that they're apart maybe Martha can go back to being the way she was before she turned all "bunny-boiler-fast-track to wife-life" and we can finally see the real Jack.

I don't udnerstand why they didn't show any scenes of Jack interacting with the other wheelchair users at the hospital.

IMO Matilda was a bit harsh towards Belle, I felt sorry for her, but having said that I still can't get my head around her and Luc.

IMO, it's Jack's fault for proposing in the first place. Just because Martha said she wanted a future with him doesn't mean she was asking him to get down on one knee then and there. His proposal came completely out of the blue and wasn't thought through at all. It was immature and naive. Although Martha could have said no, so I guess they both had their part to play. But it will be interesting to see what Jack is like now, as we've only ever known him as the guy who follows Martha around like a puppy. I hope we get to see some of the spark he had when he first arrived.
