TabbyCool Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 right at the end jack said he was working late so martha decided to get a bottle of wine from noahs so they could have adrink together when he get home and as she arrived she saw jack with his work mates having a drink! That happened on Five Life, not Five, so is a spoiler for a lot of people. I have Five Life, but seldom watch it due to other commitments I have, so it can be quite irritating to come into what is supposed to be a discussion of what is currently happening, only to find that I am constantly a day behind. I'm sure lots of other people are avoiding this thread for the same reason. Five Life does not represent the current episode in the UK, it is an episode ahead of most people, so those members who watch Five Life should probably try to bear that in mind when posting in here, since the launch of Five Life this thread has been a constant spoiler.

I worry sometimes when posting here about inadvertently spoiling for other people. Sometimes the episodes kinda merge in my head and I'd hate to ruin the show for others.

Sometimes I watch the Five Life episode and have a hard time remembering whether something came up on the Five life episode or the normal episode. I really started liking Mattie with her whole self confidence storyline and now they've completely murdered the character! Why does she believe so strongly that Lucas is lying?!
Pierced Musie Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 I feel that Lucas is acting like a brat. The way he was dissing Dean before knowing the truth is his downfall and I understand why Mattie wouldn't believe him. I want Dean to stay. He is totally cool!

I was thinking that too, because by the time the five life episode has finished, I'm confuse dby what happened on Five and what happened on Five life, and then I don't post because I dont want to spoil it for people.

As for Mattie, I can see why she wouldn't believe Lucas. The whole 'everyone thinks the ex is stirring but really they're telling the truth' thing is such a cliche, and Lucas is doing himself no favours with his constant sulking and permanent angry expression (at least I assume it's meant to be angry, although to me it looks more like he's trying to remember his times tables). Dean really creeps me out for some reason. I don't like the way they're portraying him as having some sleazy, sordid secret, when he's supposed to be a frightened young guy confused about his sexuality. I know he's using Matilda and it's a terrible thing to do, but he isn't doing it out of malice, he's just trying to sort his head out and going the wrong way about it.

She has matured a lot and I think it would be class to see Dean & Mattie become the best friendship on the show. Keep Dean! He is so much better than some of the other teens on the show!
