I have to admit the Emily storyline was very touching, especially tonight's episode. The actress that plays her has done a great job, the thing that made it so hard for me to be interested in the storyline is the fact that Brad is there to be paired up with Sally, it's so obvious, knowing that and then having to sit there and watch it just makes me kinda cringe.

Talking about cringing, that's what im doing at the Amanda and Drew storyline. It's just wrong on so many levels. She is a grown woman, he is a 17 year old kid, and the boyfriend of her daughter. He also happens to be the son of her ex and the nephew of her ex-husband, oh and her son's cousin. Come on, where is the sense in getting busy with him? Ok so it's not happened yet, but that's where they're heading.

Dean is just wierd. I feel sorry for Lucas. How can Mattie just choose to believe Dean, who she has known for a few weeks over Lucas, who she has known for sometime now. When she said the line that went something like

"......We've had therapy together and that goes deep beyond anything else........"

i thought i was gonna throw up. I think it's time Luc backed of and just let het get what's comming to her. And when she does, i think he should just leave her to it.

And as for Cassie and Macca, i think it's stupid that she has chosen Macca, the guy who beat her and lied to her about taking drugs, over Ric, but I would rather watch them two together, than Cassie and Ric, cause they just seem boring together.

I was hoping that Jack would have got called away to work during that dinner party, just to **** Martha off, cause i reckon that she has been way over reacting to Jack working the hours he does. But he didn't get called away. :(

And :o since when has Alf ever been nice to Colleen, let alone making tea for her? That was random.

Ok rant over. :D

Why did they have to completely rip off Blake & Meg with the Brad & Emily storyline? I cared more about Meg's death than Emily's and I was much younger then.

Alf being nice to Colleen was so contrived, it was like...

Storyliner 1: 'Ok, we need someone to overhear Macca & Amanda talking.'

Storyliner 2: 'I know! We could have Colleen work as Amanda's cleaner and overhear it, yes it's never been mentioned before, but no one will notice, then she could tell Alf.'

Storyliner 1: 'But he wouldn't listen?'

Storyliner 2: 'Come on, these are soap fans, they don't know anything, we don't need to show them respect.'

Ok, well I haven't been on here in a while, so some of what I'm talking about will be stuff from last week.

Right. Dean... I don't like him, he's creepy and smarmy and sleazy! It is amusing how he gets Lucas so worked up though, Luc always looks so awkward, especially when Mattie is telling him how pathetic she thinks he is! On the other hand, Mattie is so blind and clueless! Dean is quite obviously lying to her, even when he was called into the police station she didn't question the fact that he wouldn't tell her anything about it. He told her it was nothing important and she just let it go, if my boyfriend had been called in for police questionning I'd want to know why!

Amanda and Drew... it's all just a bit... eww! The other day when Drew discharged himself from hospital and went to see Amanda, when Amanda sat him down on the sofa and started fussing over him it was just so cringeworthy! Amanda is telling him that she doesn't want things to be weird between them, whilst at the same time stroking his thigh! Since when was it normal behaviour for a woman to stroke her daughter's boyfriend's thigh? It's just so obvious that they're going to sleep together and it'll be a huge mess, Belle will hate them both and will probably either move back to Irene's or run away completely. It's so unrealistic though, how many 17 year old boys are so confident in themselves that they'll just go up to their girlfriend's mother and tell her that they like them and that they know they feel the same way? It's stupid.

Cassie and Macca are irritating me. Cassie is so spineless and indecisive. Macca beat her up and lied to her about taking drugs and stuff. Ric is lovely, he'd do anything for her, but she chooses Macca. I know that Ric and Cassie are dull to watch, but I can't understand how she could still have feelings for Macca after what he did to her.

I'm not really getting into the Brad and Emily storyline, it's just a plot device to ultimately get Brad and Sally together, and whilst Kate's acting has been good and there have been some touching moments, it's just not that engaging as a storyline.

Martha and Jack are just irritating me. Martha is always whining at Jack for working late. I agree that he should make more of an effort to spend time with her or at least call her when he's running late, but if Martha actually went to work too, she might understand where he's coming from. Also, if Martha went to work, maybe Jack wouldn't have to work so much! She used to work at Noah's bar, but I can't remember the last time we saw her there, or the last time she even mentioned going to work. Add all of that to the fact that they are a dull couple with no chemistry, it doesn't exactly make for compelling viewing. They were only ever paired up because they look pretty together, which is clearly not enough to make a successful marriage!

Excellent post. From what I can remember when I watched this in Aus I agree with everything, especially the things in bold.

The Amanda and Drew storyline has come out of no-where as well.

Conveniently Drew has started having feelings for Amanda. One minute he's trying to ignore them, the next he's convincing her she fancies him too! What is all that about?

I don't believe Amanda would do that now, not after she spent so long gaining Belle's trust in the first place.

Perhaps if Drew had been attracted to Amanda when he first arrived but settled for Belle instead, then these feelings resurfaced, that would have been more believable.

All these storylines have real potential, but they just come out of nowhere and that really spoils it.

Amanda and Drew? Where the hell did that come from? How wrong can a storyline be? Poor Belle!

This is Amanda we're talking about! lol. Drew's the stupid one, he's got a good relationshiop with Belle....

But even so! After everything Amanda went through to build up a relationship with Belle, she then goes and hooks up with her boyfriend? What the bejesus?

Rachel's face when Kim said about someone you love dying in your arms, I thought she was gonna turn and clobber him! lol.

How dumb are Macca and Cassie!? It wasn't hard to see Alf there!

I was thinking the same thing about Rachel and Kim, when he said that in front if Sally.

And how did Macca and Cassie NOT see Alf? :o

Loving Rachel's scenes then. Normally, I cringe when actors shout, but when Kate Ritchie and Amy Matthews do it, they do it so well!

Amanda and Drew?! Pass the bucket please! LMAO The five man just went 'She is a tart quite frankly' lol!
