Lakshya-KTrocks Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 Drew and Belle are both so rude even though i like them as a couple ,Belle manipulates Amanda and using her , then Drew starts creating problems for Dan and Leah , they seriously have issues but they suit because they are both annoying and arragont teenagers.

carmelle Posted December 15, 2006 Report Posted December 15, 2006 I understand that Drew has a lot of issues but there was no need to treat Dan and Leah the way he did, especially after everything their doing for him with giving him a place to stay and supporting him through this whole arson thing. I know Amanda isn't perfect, but you can see that she really is trying to make a go of it with Belle and I wish Belle would just cut her some slack. I do think that Drew and Belle make an interesting couple, but it gets irritating watching them and their angst again and again, but I also thought it was a good thing having Belle start that fire in order to help Drew. Too bad it kinda back fired. I cant believe Kim and Rachel get another main storyline, this time with Tara. I think they've had so much going on lately, it's unfair on charcters like the ever unused Tony and now Leah who's now only ever in the back ground with Dan and Drew. But I have to admit Amy Matthews is just great at what she does. I think Rachel deserves better than KIM. The best thing about the recent storylines has to be Parenting - Dan and Amanda style. it's totally cool watching Dan and Amanda having to cope with teens and giving advice to/helping/criticising each other. Im always laughing when Amanda is about to open the door and i know it's dan with THAT look on his face. They're still a good team despite everything, it's just a shame Leah wasn't used as well as she could have been.

I agree about the Leah thing, sometimes they totally underuse her when they have the chance to give her the time she should get. It seems like she's only there totalk about 'The boys' or to reassure Dan ar split up arguments between him and Drew. I just wish she could get her own storyline.

Especially when they hadnt even eaten or drunk what was left on the table!! Have to say as well, I love Rachel and Brad when they're together! They're such sweet siblings, I loved it when they were play-fighting today. Did she really pinch his nipple?! yeh I think she did pinch his nipple I love the Dan and Amanda parenting storyline, its interesting watching how they have both just been thrown into caring for a teenager. They're such different people and such different parents!! Although hes much stricter and doesnt buy you anything you want, I think i'd much prefer Dan for an Uncle than Amanda for a mum!

Especially when they hadnt even eaten or drunk what was left on the table!! lol Yeah,even more so when Matilda is suppose to have a eating disorder and has only been having help for about a week..Its like they forgot about it when ordering,lunch,milkshakes and millions of muffins. Its like the milkshakes,they order them but they leave seconds later.
summer_bay_rules Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 Matilda had an eating disorder due to low self esteem. She seems to be getting a lot of help at the retreat as they seem to have sessions everyday. Therefore she is eating again.
Reo Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 It would still take her time to start eating normally again,Even if she got her self-esteem back,it would still be on her mind when she is in a place of eating and asks if she wants a muffin,saying yes without problem just a week later doesnt seem real to me.

I.E. did we ever find out if jack can hear again in both ears? i don't think so!
Reo Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 I cant remember about Jack,I know he lied about saying he was given the all-clear,but then i think he said it again truthly after awhile,but i dont remember. They seem to start off with something good,but its all a set up for something else which is never good,ignoring the start and acting like that is all over and done with,when its usually something that cant be gotten over in a week or so.
