Yeah, i don't like Lucas that much either though. I think it's just a complete lack of storyline. When Jack first came to Summer Bay, he had so much potential. Alas, now he is ... urgh. IMO. Tony however, is *sighs*.

I like the fact that Lucas has had no storylines yet. It breaks the character in nicely. I think that is why I like Matilda so much. She had hardly any big storylines at first and it worked in her favour. Means they won't run out of storylines for the characters.

*sighs along with Clare at the mention of Tony*

Got to admit i am now a big fan of Matilda, i liked the fact that at first she was a pretty minor character, now she has had some bigger storylines and she seems comfortable on screen. I hope the same thing will happen with Lucas. I don't really get what's so great about Jack though, IMO.

Very true. Dan and Jack were hott hott hott in that ep! and it's so frustrating that Martha keeps on pushing Jack away... HE'S ONLY TRYING TO HELP! Stupid woman... Arggh it makes me so mad atm everytime i see her

Lol - ok time to breathe now

The problem with the Martha storyline is that we're meant to empathise with her, but they've handled it so badly that she comes across as annoying. As someone who has experienced panic attacks, I don't find these scenes particularly realistic. Yes, sometimes people have trouble breathing and feel like they're going to die, but the whole point is that it's in your head. You don't roll around on the floor like you're having a heart attack. It seems to me that they wanted a decent storyline for Martha but couldn't think of anything better.

I still have not got over the fact that the Corey storyline suddently became all about Martha, and it was if everything which happened to Irene never happened. It was never mentioned again. Given what an excellent storyline it was, and how well Lynne played it I would have liked to have seen some aftermath, her coming to terms with what happend, how it impacted on her relationhisp with Hayley and with Barry. .....to have seen Colleen assume she was still crazy, because they don't lock you up in those places unless you really are a few sandwiches short of a pic nic sort of thing....but nope...what do we get...Martha...who they can put on the front cover of TV Week...hyperventilating over someone putting a key in the lock. ...

Rant over...Ella did a good job this week. Each week she gets better and better and I like Hayley more since she took over. I shall be so glad when the paternity thing comes to an end though..it can not be much longer now.
