TabbyCool Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 Whilst people are saying that Lee wasn't the victim in the pregnancy storyline, I think we need to put ourselves in her shoes. It's easy as an adult to say that it was wrong of Lee to do what she did, but she is an insecure kid. Most kids have a crush on a teacher at some point in their lives and teachers are strictly forbidden from having relationships with their students, even if they are over the age of consent. Mr Braeburn was clearly in a position of power, he seduced and used one of his pupils then dumped her once he found out that she was pregnant. Since he is the one who is the adult and the one who is married, he was far more in the wrong than Lee ever was. She just wanted to be loved and she thought that he did love her, whereas he always knew that it was just a little fling and that he had no intentions of having a real relationship with her. I know she was pretty stupid and gullible, but she is only a child and she was taken advantage of by someone she should have been able to trust.

I went "Ohhh, here we go again, not another mad-person". I liked how Amanda kept on giving Belle tips and pointers, Amanda certainly knows how to get in Belle's good books and showed she can be a dangerous person with her threat to Irene! But, how did Amanda get the information about Irene being a alcoholic-child beater?! It happened years ago! Irene is one of H&A's long-serving characters! The door closing and locking both Sally and Belle to me was 'how convient (sp?)' lol, hopefully everyone got out OK.

Amanda is really a cow the way she is behaving with Irene , she is using Belle for her own selfish needs where as Irene has got her best intreests at heart , Belle shouldnt go with Amanda because the only thing Amanda is going to do wi ther is spoil her and teach her the wrong things.

Wasn't it last week that Belle hated Amanda's guts and now she won't even believe Irene when she says Amanda abused her. I swear these "Amanda the evil manipulator" storylines are getting dry. :glare:
