Ryan and Belle are half brother and sister, Ryan and Drew are cousins, but Drew and Belle are not related at all. The storyline with Mattie is really good, Indiana's acting has really impressed me this week. When she was binging on the lamingtons then spitting them into the sink I just felt so sad for her, it made me cry a little just thinking of how low she must be feeling, poor thing.

Belle is the daughter of Amanda, whose son is Ryan, whose dad is Dan, whose brother is Peter, whose son is Drew. But I agree it is a tenuous link so they're not really that closely related. I always thought lamingtons were called "lemmingtons", just the Australian accent made it sound like lamingtons. I now know otherwise...
Bay_Mad Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I really loved Peters memorial service, I thought they were just going to forget about him but yeey they didn't!! The photo was a very cute thing to have as well. I loved the fact that all his workmates were there, especially Fitzgerald looking very pretty but different in non uniform!! I'd always hoped her and Pete would get together..but oh well! My first impressions of Drew aren't very good though, for a start he looks nothing like Peter!! Couldnt they have got some cute blonde But his reaction to the news of the death of his father was a bit mean, all he seemed to care about was if he was going to get any money!!!

Tulip Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 It must be really awkward for Dan and Leah, not being sure what to do about Drew. I guess they kind of feel responsible about him but what do you do when your nephew's father has just died? They hardly known him and they must be feeling concerned as to what to do and whether they should gte to know him. Also Amanda must be feeling odd as she is not really part of the family yet she knew Peter well. The dates didn't seem to add up when Amanda was telling Dan how she knew about Peter and Christie. She said she was in LA and Peter had told her about Christie and the relationship he'd had with her 5 years earlier. Then she said 5 years after that, Peter had told her about his son. That must have made it 10 years earlier, so where does Dan and Amanda's marriage fit in? I thought Peter joined Amanda in LA after their affair and so after Dan and Amanda had split up, which couldn't have been more than 6 years previously to what is happening now. Confusing...

It was 5 years ago from now that Peter found out about Drew, when he was 12. Which means that Dan and Amanda could have split less than 6 years ago, and Peter told Amanda a while after he found out about Drew ...... If that makes it easier to understand

Peter was 15 when Drew was born but didnt know about him until he was 12 so that would make Peter 27 then. Thats when he told Amanda about it..now its 5 years from that point..Making Drew 17 and Peter 32.. I think thats right..But im not certain.
