Do you mean because Leah was crying after he died? Well she is his sister in law, she still cares about him as a family member & a friend. I didnt see anything that suggested anymore about her feelings.
TabbyCool Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Leah was stroking Pete's face and stuff, but you'd do that to anyone if you were trying to bring them round and comfort them when they were in the situation he was in, it does't mean that she was still in love with him or anything, she was just doing her best to comfort him when he needed it most.
Tulip Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 It reminded me of when Peter was unconscious when Sarah held them hostage. Maybe it wasn't intentional but it was still a nice link back to what happened, and also reminding viewers of what they shared in the past.

claire_louise Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 To be honest, although I'm sure that Leah's feelings for Peter are purely platonic, her reaction to his death was stronger than I expected. She seemed devastated, so I can understand people wondering if it was because she still had romantic feelings for him. But I think she just felt close to him because of everything they'd been through together, plus the shock of his death must have been huge.
allibaz91 Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 I have really liked the way this storyline has played out - with Peter dying and everyone dealing with it in different ways. And I thought it was quite funny when Amanda was telling Leah about the time Peter got arrested for "stealing" a boat ..... it was nice to see her being genuinely caring for a change. And it was quite mean of Dan to throw her out - I know she's supposed to have hurt him and Peter, but it was obvious she really was upset about his death.

I think the way Tims playing Dan is amazing, his grief is so powerful, i just constantly feel sorry for him!! Indianna was also amazing today with the burns, poor Mattie!! I cant believe how young Amanda was when she had Belle!!! I missed the beginning though, did we hear anything about the father?? Oh and another thing, this is going back to the fire, but does anyone know what Colleen says and what she picks up after the explosion?? I've watched it over and over but cant work out what she says or what it is!
Reo Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Tim and Indiana have been great in this..Lucas..well it showed his bad acting..He is ok,i just dont think he did well with this..I think his face and reaction was over the top. I dont think Belle's father was mentioned. I think Colleen picked up the bride and groom figures that goes on cakes..I could be wrong,i have only watched it once but i think that was it.
allibaz91 Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 I dont know what she says - I wasnt sure either, but it may have been a bottle of alcohol of some sort ..... dont know why I thought that, I just thought it was like brandy or something she picked up - to "calm her nerves" lol! I know, I felt soooo bad for poor Matilda!! No wonder she's so upset ...... I dont think we know anything about the father, no .... or if we do then I also missed it, in which case I'd also like to know lol!
