Why?

Irene is just going through what any normal person is going through she fell in love with Barry, and then suddenly she found out that the person she loved had killed two people and hadn't told her, I think she has every reason to be angry.

Irene Roberts is the best character in Home & Away at the moment, she came into the show as an alcholic who couldn't look after her own children.

Now she has made up with her children and has loads of children she calls her own, Selina, the late Chloe, Will, Nick, Hayley, Kim, Tasha, Belle without her what would of happened to them, they would of all been put in care, and in the Smiths case seperated.

Irene is a wonderful character and has made me laugh and cry over the years, she to me is what a woman should be strong, kind, caring and not afraid to speak her mind.

I really enjoyed today's episode.

The highlight for me was the Beth and Lucas converstation on the bench, it was very well done and quite moving. Beth's little chat about that holiday and how she cried and cried to go home, the look on Lucas's face when she said that was so sweet. I'm not ashamed to admit I shed a tear when Lucas cried when he told Beth he started to love Beth like a mother, even though it was a small scene, I loved it!

I also loved the bit where Lucas was in his room looking at the photo of his mum and started to cry, it was so lovely, it didn't need any words, you could just feel his emotion.

I liked the Lucas and Beth scene in the kitchen when they were talking about being mates and that lovely hug, not forgetting Beth whispering in his ear that he was a good boy. Lovely!

Cassie and Macca were OK.

I've got my bucket ready for tomorrow I won't say anymore, but I'll need it!

Yeah, I really enjoyed that. It was a perfect scene on the song was beautiful.

I thought it was all over a little quickly but it made me realise how much I've enjoyed this storyline.

I also like how the reason behind Lucas' behaviour wasn't just "he was missing his mum" but that he found it hard to adjust to living with Beth and Mattie and also living with females. I thought that was really original and very clever, an excellent twist to an interesting and well-dealt with storyline. The acting from all concerned was brilliant and it's really explored the family's relationship. I couldn't have guessed the ending and that made it really good.
