Yeah but I hope Belle doesn't lose her adventurous streak like Cassie did. Yes, Cassie had been through a lot and that would undoubtably change a person, but her previous cheekiness was lost and I hope the same doesn't happen to Belle.

I like how she and Irene are paired together - they are complete opposites but they work really well together. I can see Belle getting bored of her but realising how valuable Irene is to her.

I don't think Irene and Belle are opposites, I actually think they are quite similar. Irene has a bit of a fiery temper and isn't scared to speak her mind, she's also very protective of the people she cares about. I think Belle is quite similar to Irene, she is feisty and has a lot of attitude and always speaks her mind. She has always stood up for Ric too, she was very supportive of him when he got the cleaning job and is trying her best to help him through his bullying at work too. She may seem a little misguided at times, but nobody is perfect, especially not teenagers!

I agree the Irene/Belle pairing was a good match up, they play really well off of each other.

I feel the need to rant a little about bad policing in Summer Bay yet again (forgive me if i'm repetitive, but maybe if they ever got anything right this wouldn't be a problem!)

Peter is an idiot. Seriously. Why would he 'hide' the file about his hair, right under the mouse or wherever it was? Not exactly well hidden - he's a detective! And then all this nonsense about Jack being suspicious and peter's getting worried - maybe if he was half decent at his job then there wouldnt be so much to be suspicious of! And as for Jack - why would he know of zoe by that name but not her real name? Surely as a cop he would have heard her real name? And why not just confront Peter about it? Surely he can't lie his way out of this one too!!

And also, this storage shed - i thought jack got inside before and found it empty. Now all of a sudden peter has filing cabinets and a desk there - and where did all his newspaper clippings go? And why would he crumple up Eve's autopsy report and shove it in a drawer? I thought it was important?

Rant over . . . for the time being anyway

Yep, the police on H&A are useless! They completely failed to catch Zoe/Eve when she was running wild terrorising the bay, Peter is always up to something he probably shouldn't be, Jack is trying his best but is too inquisitive for his own good sometimes! Not to mention the fact that they fitted Morag with a wire that was totally visible and screwed up their chance of getting Bob Radcliffe! They still haven't figured out who killed Josh either, even though people on this board figured it out before it was ever revealed in Aus!

Awww i felt sorry for Mattie. She want to a lot of trouble to make that meal for Lucas. She was a bit agressive when he came back, and he did apoligise to her. I hope they make up soon.

I felt sorry for Mattie when Luc came home late, but my sympathy soon faded! She acted like a complete brat, who the hell does she think she is? Lucas stayed out at the diner to give her some space, he apologised for being late then she completely tore into him about hanging out with Belle, not coming home when he was meant to... if he decided to stay out late it has nothing to do with her, he didn't know what she had planned, once he knew he was very apologetic but she just wasn't having any of it! I think Lucas would be better off without her, she's a spoiled little princess.

Brilliant episode!

Aggressive!Dan rocks - he was sooooo great today, acted superbly by Tim Campbell, and because it was so out of character, it was more effective. Barry and Colleen running out of Dan's house was hilarious.

The whole Mattie and Lucas "bit" is getting old. Before, Lucas was boring, now he's angry and boring. The storyline isn't working for me. However, i do like that we get to see more of Tony. Jon is a fantastic actor and it's good to see him in the role of "father" and not "boyfriend" for once.

The Robbie and Kim and Tasha stuff was also great. Isabel Lucas looked beautiful as ever today! I am really beginning to feel for Robbie now, and i'm glad that they made him talk to Kim about his concerns and that past storylines (ie Noah/Hayley) were brought up.

I laughed at what dan said to colleen but also felt sorry for colleen lol..

I agree with barry and colleen running out, that was funny.

Angry lucas just came out of no-where,he was having problems with matilda down to the point where she through she was a snobby brat, but where is this anger from, what reason is there for him to be angry, upset i understand and trying to get space maybe hard, but all this anger doesnt seem right in the situation.

I agree. It is fair that he's getting annoyed because he wants he own space, and maybe a temper tantrum (like when he had a go at Beth) would be typical of a teenager. But the anger with Mattie today, i mean she was trying to take the note back after Tony had talked to her, he was out of line.

It may have worked better on a character that was better formed. I don't think that we, as an audience, know enough about Lucas to empathise with him. If it was a better built character (aka Ric/Robbie/Dan) it may have come across differently.

I missed the last 5 mins of the episode, but im gathering that Mattie tried to take back the note she pushed under Lucas' door, and he went mad at her? He seems pretty tempered, which is strange because before this i had always thought of him as quite a patient person.
