Tamxxx Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 I dont understand, is Summer Bay an actual location?, like are people allowed to come and see the actors acting, or just stroll along the beach while the scenes are taking place, if so, omg people who live near summer bay, there so lucky lol, if your allowed to watch them acting out their scenes. And this is a really stupid question lol, but are all the houses in summer bay studios and seperate from each other?
Dan F Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 Palm Beach (Summer Bay) is a public place so yes you can stand and watch them filming as long as you don't get in the way. Palm Beach however is only part of Summer Bay as they film in many different locations around Sydney and the Northern Beaches. These 2 features on the site will give you more information: On Location Behind the Scenes at Summer Bay As for your second question, all the interiors for the houses are indeed filmed in studios.
Ryan Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 Do they rent the beach out, or is still a public place and therefore the only thing that would stop you walking right in front of the camera is manners.
Dan F Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 They have to pay for its use, but it is still a public place so yes it is just manners really.
katya Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 How much do I want to go to Palm Beach and run in front of the camera waving a banner that says "Hi Mum"?
