Share the storylines that:

-Didn't turn out how you had hoped

-Had bad conclusions

-Took a wrong turn somewhere along the path

Explain how you would have prefered them to develop/end. :D

The whole Seb/Chris storyline. I remember reading something about the guy who played Seb wanting it to actually be a gay/insecure about sexuality storyline, which I would have enjoyed, and not only because I like gay guys...

Seriously, though. How natural is it for a place like Summer Bay to have nothing buy straight people for over 18 years, with the one exception of Shannon..? (Who was bi?). Other than that, it seems like H&A wants to have storylines people can relate to... If so, why not have a storyline about a teen/adult coming to terms with his or hers sexuality? I would prefer it to be a man/boy simply because it seems to still be more taboo to be a gay man than a gay woman.

The twin swap storyline. Ok, so the idea wasn't great in the first place, but they could have handled the whole thing a lot better than they did. I know it was just a way to write out Jade, but it was handled really badly in my opinion.

The stalker storyline. It was interesting at first, dragged on for a while, then by the time it was actually revealed who it was, I'd lost interest anyway. Also, Zoe/Eve wasn't involved enough with the other cast for it to be a shock. I know she was going out with Kim, but she just never seemed like she properly fit in, always came across as being a bit fake. I'd have preferred it to have been someone else, don't know who, maybe a past cast member who was well-known. It just seems that once Eve/Zoe wsa gone, everyone forgot about it pretty quickly. Even Kim didn't ponder about it for too long!

Josie's 1989 secret. All that build up. All that potential. Then the classic (should I say, over-used) "I killed someone in self defence" crap.

I totally agree that was such a massive let down. Did anyone besides Marc Edwards ever find out about that? Just a complete waste of time!

I was always really disappointed that Dylan turned out to not be a Sutherland. He finally found the stability and love of a family that he so wanted and deserved, but TPTB just took away for a quick exit. The Suthos never even kept in touch with him.

I agree, even Angie genuinely thought Dylan was a Sutherland. The only reason they made him not a Sutherland at the last minute was so they could write him out after Angie's death. Even though we all loved him :(

Morag found about Josie's secret from a man (forget his name) but couldn't prove it as he then disappeared. It was hinted Josie may have "got rid of him". But I don't believe that.

Twin swap was awful... It started well, and it had potential...but... the several changes of script producer, all of whom had a different slant on it, and the decision of TPTB to ditch Jade meant they could not really do it justice. They should have ditched the story line all together rather than cobbling something together.

Josies 1989 secret. Where did it go?......Nowhere.....It was a nothing storyline...it was built up and up and then.....??????

Several absolutely brilliant stories have been fabulous and then almost ruined by a poor ending or by a poor or stupid follow through. I loved the Irene story line when she was poisoned but was furious that the follow through was all about Martha. It should not have been, or if they wanted to do that they should still have done something about the impact upon Irene...I mean come on...someone posions her ..her friends and family all think she is so loopy they lock her up in a psych unit...she is dragged away by the police...she is forcibly sedated..this was a wonderfully powerful story and was great viewing ..and then nothing...except Martha having the strops and shooting Ric.

Seb and Chris. This was a missed opportunity. They wimped out on it.

I was disappointed in both the Stalker and the Paternitygate storylines......mainly because I think they involved characters that I am not all that interested in. Each had it its good bits but both were a bit of a let down. We all knew it was Zoe. We all knew it was Scott. Each of these storylines went on far too long and seemed to dominate every episode at the expense of other storylines..they took over IMO.

I have to agree with everything that's been said. Dylan should have been a Sutherland. Josie's 1989 secret was a complete and utter let-down also. Paternitygate... my god, how is it still going on? I mean, really, this is just ridiculous!

Don't even get me started on the stalker! I remember all the stalker hype we had here at the time, it was crazy. I thought the storyline was tedious and dragged on for far too long!

I can't think of too many off the top of my head but agree with the ones that people have said:

The twin swap was pathetic it could have been good if explored properly but was just used as a way of explaining Jade leaving the rest of the family when as Seb left soon after they would have been better off having them leave together perhaps to live with Don and June away from summer bay.

Josies 1989 secret was expected to be something huge with a massive impace but turned out to be silly and easily forgot once the writers explained what Marc had over Josie.

Irene should have been more traumatised after what happened to her.

The writers should have referred back to Irene's past more often exploring how she used to abuse her kids.

Chloe should not have been brought back simply to be killed off they should have left her happy in the city or wherever she came from.

Tasha's past seems to be forgotten now she is so civilised.

ALso on the 4000th episode so many characters were brought back but hardly any of them got to speak let alone tell us what they have been upto since leaving the bay so i would have had them all stay for a few episodes.
