1. Disasters - The Bush Fire (Nelson's scenes in hospital with Steven and Kelly were great), Earthquake (again very well acted and directed), Mudslide.

2. Villains - Dodge! (pure evil. No depth, just minimally evil), Saul (had had tragedy in his life but his evil actions were unjustifiable), 88-93 Morag (a villain with a heart when it came to her family, especially Roo but made no exceptions with her enemies, especially poor Bobby and Ailsa!), Angie (need I say more), Nicholas (Stacey's fiance back in the 80's - a posh, private school type but evil when it came to dodgy deals - loved him and Morag stringing the Fletchers along with this move to London), Diana Fraser (I liked the way Irene could see straight through her with the viewers but her sons couldn't; a very realistic and enjoyable approach).

3. Fight scenes - Alf punches Donald! Bobby thumps Roo one on the nose, Bobby threatens to drown Alison Patterson, Damian thumps Shane one, Steven and Dodge's final fight, Shane and Tug at the musical, Adam and Paul in the boxing ring over Emma with Alf as umpire, Scott and Kane, Rhys pushing Kane against the wall, all of Irene and Diana, Dylan and Angie, any of Jesse's (in particualr, the one with Josie).

4. Body Swaps - None, I hated them all, especially if they are established characters. I can appreciate what happened with Pippa and I agree it was for the best (and I liked the second Hayley) but on the whole I don't like them. I am not so bothered with guest ones, though (like Rebecca Fisher - two guest stints seven and two years before she became a permanant and Irene for that matter)....

5. Tear Jerking moments - Donald's grief over both Alan and Bobby's deaths (and then Byrons - particuarly when he broke down in a classroom and had flashbacks of Bobby and when him and Sam were walking along the beach and talking about Bobby being reincarnated as a seagull!), the way Alf looked at Ailsa's coffin at her funeral (even if it was a poor death!), Pippa and Michael talking on the beach about Dale's death and where he is now, all of Bobby's death (especially the scene with Pippa at her hospital bed and Don telling Sam she'd 'gone to heaven') and the buildup towards it (including Greg's affair), Meg's storyline, Sophie's grief over David's death, Michael's death (in particualr, Sally and Pippa on the bed and the end of the episode after his body was discovered where Sam sat on Shannon's knee and Liam hugged Pippa), Shane's death (especially Angel's reaction to it), everyhting bad that happened to Marilyn (the one person in the Bay who didn't deserve it!), Chloe's death, Flynn's death........

Dark secrets - Bobby's parentage (classic stuff), paternity storyline with Scott and Kim (millions wouldn't agree I know, but I rather liked it), Marc and Josie, Angel having Dylan at 14 and Shane discovering this, Ailsa killing her Dad (liked how this was kept alive over the years she was on the show, suprised no one has mentioned this yet)..........

Fave couples - Alf and Ailsa (true love), Tom and Pippa (again, true love), Michael and Pippa, Shane and Angel, Bobby's undying love for Frank (as much as it wasn;t returned), Leah and Vinnie, Irene and Barry, Kirsty and Kane, Tug and Sarah (Couldn't be together but true soulmates - glad to hear they're together now!).

Dramatic departures - Matt Wilson, Nick Parrish, Rob Storey, Andrew Warren, Allison Patterson (come on, you've gotta mention these LOL). Bobby (justice for such a fab character), Shane, Michael, Karen, Flynn, Phillip Matheson, Dodge, Morag's in 1993, Saul, Noah, Eve, Chloe, Kelly Watson (emotional too - only time I ever felt for Travis!).

Bad Girls - Allison Patterson (because she didn't actually realise she was a dork!), Roo (up to a point), Morag (early years), Irene (when she was in her first incarnation as an evil and alcohloic mother!), Angie, Zoe, Diana, Ros Parrish (could be quite manipulative to Shane), Anne Harris (Dylan Parrish's gran), Karen (after Revhead and jail), Josie (debated - a very deep character but some of her antics could make her a bad girl I guess), Sophie Simpson (when under Al's influence in her first few weeks, although we soon found the real Sophie who could still be a nice bitch), Tracey Turner, Bobby and Emma Jackson (OK, maybe not really but I loved that pic of them in leather jackets!)

Bad Boys - Saul, Dodge, Shane (thought he was to begin with but just made himself look like a show-off), Tug, Nathan Roberts, Chris Reynolds (treat poor Bobby like poo), Greg 'man whore' Marshall (when he cheated on Bobby with Fiona - didn't mind Frank doing it with Roo - he was likeable and that was genuine love!), Gary Samuels, Danny Price (a psycho who locked Morag in the cupboard!), Kane, Duncan (despite being played by a peice of wooded furniture), Diesel (very well developed!), Al Simpson, Donald in the first six months, Jack Wilson, Blake (to begin with), Jesse (a con with a heart - just goes to show some never lose criminal ways!), Ryan Lee (didn't leave Lucinda alone and wound Shane and BORING Nick up something rotten!), Revhead (a classic, loved how he appeared as guest in several stints (the first one where Adam saved Roo from him raping her in 89) and was a background character who didn't run his course butwas remembered at the same time)...........

1. Disasters: I'm going to say none... not a huge fan of disasters. They really don't do anyhting for the show IMO

2. Ultimate Villains (Evil People/Murders/Criminals): My favourite would have to be Dodge. I watched the second Dodge before the first, but the way Dodge used Irene was awesome. I really loved how he played people so well... and the fact that given different circumstances he may have been a bit different, but he ended up just bad.

3. Fight Scenes (Brawls, Scraps, Fisticuffs): Dodge and Steven go off the cliff...

4. Body Swaps (Same Actor, Different Character / Same Character, Different Actor): I would have to say the Martin Dingle-Wall => Joel McIlroy change was the best... I really liked Joel in the role, and the way he made Flynn his own.

5. Tear Jerking Moments (Funerals, Death, Accidents, Touching Moments): Definitely Flynn's death. Like wow... best moment ever! Everything about it was so perfectly done... from the individual goodbyes, to the dance... the music. Beautiful!

6. Dark Secrets: The secret of Ian Osbourne's intentions in 2004... It was all very sinister. And it ended nicely. Josie's involvement was great!

7. Favourite Couples: I always really liked Vinnie and Leah together... that could just be because I liked Vinnie!!!

8. Dramatic Departures (the best deaths/disasters/goodbyes etc.): Vinnie goes to Jail :(... I was not privvy to spoilers then and didn't know Ryan was leaving! I thought Vinnie would be cleared!

9. Bad Girls (Bitches, Battle Axes, Harlots - not heavy duty villains): I'm going to say Amanda Vale... because I like the fact that she is so bad at being good. She tries occasionally... but never does a good job of it!

10. Bad Boys (Hell-raisers, Jack the Lads, Drugs, Alcohol, School Bullies - not heavy duty villains):

The first two incarnations of Kane (pre his return in 2003). I liked Kane because I felt sorry for his circumstances. I liked what he did for the show. But when he returned in 2003 he lost something... he was just annoying.

1. Disasters:

The plane crash, Alf's birthday crash, The seige and the mind shaft (can't remember any of the early ones, don't know why)

2. Ultimate Villains (Evil People/Murders/Criminals):

Saul (pure evil) Sarah, Zoe, Corey (fantastic acting) mumma rose (complete whack job) Angie (didn't care for anyone but herself and the way she messed with Nick's mind was great)

3. Fight Scenes (Brawls, Scraps, Fisticuffs):

Irene punching Diana at the funeral (cow deserved it) Alf punching Josh (again i was aplauding), ultimate cat fights would have to be Gypsy and Peta, from what i can remember and from more recent eps cassie and belle (classicly belle went straight for the hair) also Jesse attcking Flynn at his wife's funeral for calling her a druggie.

4. Body Swaps (Same Actor, Different Character / Same Character, Different Actor

Generally i hate them alltogether. It takes a long time to buid up a character and then to expect someone to replace them overnight is really stupid. i genuinley disliked the the replacment of Rebecca Fisher, but the only ones i was o.k with was Flynn, they both portrayed different sides to him (the boyfriend and the husband) and Hayley. I couldn't get over Hayley with anyone else but Noah. Ella briught a fresh perspective and showed more depth.

Tear Jerking Moments (Funerals, Death, Accidents, Touching Moments):

Recently sad:Flynn's death (the whole thing was incredibly touching and moving) no one believong Irene was being poisened (drove me nuts) the 2005 series final, heartbreak and tears all around. Tasha realising she had been raped.

Previous sad: Rhys leaving Beth, Charlotte losing her twins, Shane dying in Angel's arms *tear rolls down cheek* Locky dying and Ailsa dying aswell. The best was Sally leaving her wedding after finding out her fiane made a move on Gypsy.

Recently happy: Rob and Tash's wedding everything was beautiful.

Previous happy: Most weddings in particular sally's.

6. Dark Secrets:

Kirsty and Kane's illicit attraction (could never warm to that) Jade's behavior towards seb at the play when the light's went out. Corey's secret (didn't see that one coming) Cassie's abuse (noyhing new but down rather well) Shauna's relation to Ailsa. Best being Brad revealed as Chloe's rapist

7.The Favourite Couples:

Jack and Martha absolutley number 1, Alf and Ailsa, Pipa and Tom, Irene and Ken, (second to that Irene and Paris and now Barry) Shane and Angel, Chloe and Locky, Sally and Flynn, Gypsy and Will, Vinnie and Leah, Rob and Tash and Beth and Tony (so many)

8. Dramatic Departures (the best deaths/disasters/goodbyes etc.):

Ken dying in Will's arms, Hayley's goodbye to Noah.

9. Bad Girls (Bitches, Battle Axes, Harlots - not heavy duty villains):

Josie because Angie was the real bitch, Amanda, Diana, Early Morag, Early Gypsy and Shanon (Classic eps)

10. Bad Boys (Hell-raisers, Jack the Lads, Drugs, Alcohol, School Bullies - not heavy duty villains):

Ducan, Kane and Ric (early days) Surfer scott played by Heath ledger (Sally slept with him) Diesel and Dom (that new guy that Ric works with)

ok

1. Disasters = the mine shaft incident, but in my opinion it was mostly a disaster that they all got out of there alive! damn you sutherlands. i guess the cyclone at the end of last year could be classified as a disaster, but it was a bit of a letdown of a cyclone. The plane crash was pretty bad too.

2. Ultimate Villains = Zoe (probably my all time favourite character), Sarah, Corey, Mumma Rose. I can't really remember any from the old home and away days

3. Fights = lol definitely the belle and cassie catfights.. josh and alf was good as well, and so was irene and diana

4. Body Swaps = The best was Flynn, i used to love the old Flynn and was devastated when he left but now i can't imagine anyone but Joel playing Flynn. The worst was Hayley, i hope that if Hayley ever comes back, they bring back Bec, not Ella.. Ella drove me crazy

5. Tear-Jerking Moments = Number one is definitely Flynn's death. Everything about Flynn having cancer brought me to tears, especially when he died *picturing ric and flynn 'i love you dad'* Noah's death was really sad too, i cried in that too. I also cried when Zoe was revealed as the stalker, coz i knew it would mean her having to leave. but now shes coming back!

6. Dark Secrets = the stalker thing i guess. whoever guessed that the bright, bubbly Zoe could be linked to Sarah Lewis? (actually i did eventually, but especially not at the beginning) also the whole Corey thing was a bit of a secret.

7. Favourite Couples = Jack and Martha definitely number 1, but i also like: Hayley and Noah, Alf and Ailsa, Beth and Tony, Rachel and Kim, Zoe and Kim.

8. Dramatic Departures = Noah dying.

9. Bad Girls = Amanda Vale, Diana, and Josie

10. Bad Boys = Old Ric, Diesel, Callan, Dom, Kane and Duncan.

I have been contacted by a researcher who is working on development for a project involving Home and Away - I can't go into any details but if it goes ahead then it will be a great thing for all fans of Home and Away!

Basically we need your help, listed below are 10 themes which we would like your suggestions for - these need to cover the whole history of the show. There are many more but we just want to concentrate on these 10 for the time being:

1. Disasters.ONE OF THE BEST DISASTERS WAS THE PLANE CRASH AS ROBBIE AND TASH GOT BACK TOGETHER

2. Ultimate Villains (Evil People/Murders/Criminals).JOSH HAS TO BE THE WORST BADDIE AS HE KEEPS COMING BACK.

3. Fight Scenes (Brawls, Scraps, Fisticuffs)THE BEST FIGHT HAS TO BE JESSIE HE ALWAYS LOOKS TO BE ENJOYING THESE SCENES TOO!

4. Body Swaps (Same Actor, Different Character / Same Character, Different Actor)THE FLYNN SWAP WAS QUITE A BIG CHANGE FROM BLONDE AND GORGEOUS TO SHORT BROWN AND CUTE.

5. Tear Jerking Moments (Funerals, Death, Accidents, Touching Moments)AT THE MOMENT THE CANCER STORY AND SLLY IS ONE OF THE BEST ACTREESSES I AHVE SEEN(MAY NEED YOU TO PAY FOR ALL THE TISSUES I AM USING!!!)

6. Dark Secrets.THE BEST SECRET HAS BEEN WITH NOAHS PATERNITY,AGAIN SHOUTING AT THE SCREEN FOR SOMEONE TO TELL SCOTT HE'S THE DADDY.

7. Favourite Couples.I REALLY THINK TASH AND ROBBIE ARE A GREAT COUPLE BUT HOPE TO SEE A FEW MORE RELATIONSHIPS ACTUALLY WORKING.

8. Dramatic Departures (the best deaths/disasters/goodbyes etc.).NOAH'S DEATH WAS A REAL TEAR JERKER AND AGAIN ACTED PERFECTLY(MISSING HIM BIG TIME)

9. Bad Girls (Bitches, Battle Axes, Harlots - not heavy duty villains).LOVE MORAG THE WAY SHE IS ABOVE EVEYONE,SARAH WAS THE WORST AS SHE TOOK NOAH

10. Bad Boys (Hell-raisers, Jack the Lads, Drugs, Alcohol, School Bullies - not heavy duty villains)THE BAD BOY HAS TO BE DUNCAN,HE ENJOYS BEING BAD.

So please help and think of some of your favourite moments - trust me it will be worth it!

Thankyou! :)

2. Ultimate Villains (Evil People/Murders/Criminals)

Angie.

Amanda is a ridiculous caricature. Angie held my (and many other people's) interest because she was believable, scary, and infuriating.

4. Body Swaps (Same Actor, Different Character / Same Character, Different Actor)

I was very young when the original Pippa was around, but I still remember very clearly when that huge change happened.

Flynn is memorable because I went from really liking the REAL (ie original) Flynn, to absolutely despising the replacement. I had some weird and horrible physical reaction resulting in nausea with the new one! He played Flynn as such an abrupt, arrogant, puffed-up know it all, always talking down to everyone like he was perfect (which Tony is in danger of becoming these days).

And I hated Hayley #2.

In general, swapping the actor is just ridiculous. Especially as Home and Away tends to cast a replacement actor who does not make the slightest attempt to play the character that has been created.

5. Tear Jerking Moments (Funerals, Death, Accidents, Touching Moments)

Despite my hatred of Flynn, Sally's part in the cancer storyline was incredible.

7. Favourite Couples

Hayley and Noah - it felt real (probably because it was!).

Shane and Angel - especially as Melissa George hated Dieter Brummer in real life!

1. Disasters

The Mirigini disaster, and the mudslide.

2. Ultimate Villains (Evil People/Murders/Criminals)

Dodge was rather nasty, as was Brad who raped poor Chloe.

3. Fight Scenes (Brawls, Scraps, Fisticuffs)

I cannot think of many specific fight scenes, although i did enjoy it when Irene pucnhed Angie, and later Diana.

4. Body Swaps (Same Actor, Different Character / Same Character, Different Actor)

Ella Scott Lynch was a an excellent replacement for Rebecca Cartwright.

5. Tear Jerking Moments (Funerals, Death, Accidents, Touching Moments)

Tom's death, Micheal's Death, baby Dale, Bobby's death.

6. Dark Secrets

Mr Fisher being Bobby's Father.

7. Favourite Couples

Alf and Aisla, Pippa and Micheal, Irene and Barry, Shane and Angel, Sophie and Blake, Sally and Flynn.

8. Dramatic Departures (the best deaths/disasters/goodbyes etc.)

I don't like good byes much.

Bobby's death.

Micheals death.

9. Bad Girls (Bitches, Battle Axes, Harlots - not heavy duty villains)

I thought Josie was an excellent character.

10. Bad Boys (Hell-raisers, Jack the Lads, Drugs, Alcohol, School Bullies - not heavy duty villains)

Vinnie was a bit of a bad boy when he arrived, as was Nathan Roberts. Nick Smith was a handful.
