Dan F Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 I have been contacted by a researcher who is working on development for a project involving Home and Away - I can't go into any details but if it goes ahead then it will be a great thing for all fans of Home and Away! Basically we need your help, listed below are 10 themes which we would like your suggestions for - these need to cover the whole history of the show. There are many more but we just want to concentrate on these 10 for the time being: 1. Disasters 2. Ultimate Villains (Evil People/Murders/Criminals) 3. Fight Scenes (Brawls, Scraps, Fisticuffs) 4. Body Swaps (Same Actor, Different Character / Same Character, Different Actor) 5. Tear Jerking Moments (Funerals, Death, Accidents, Touching Moments) 6. Dark Secrets 7. Favourite Couples 8. Dramatic Departures (the best deaths/disasters/goodbyes etc.) 9. Bad Girls (Bitches, Battle Axes, Harlots - not heavy duty villains) 10. Bad Boys (Hell-raisers, Jack the Lads, Drugs, Alcohol, School Bullies - not heavy duty villains) So please help and think of some of your favourite moments - trust me it will be worth it! Thankyou!

Disasters- I really liked the mirigini as i felt it brought the townspeople together, also gave a lot of opportunity for the Kirsty/Kane storyline to kick off. The mudslide too another great disaster that brought the people together. Ailsa driving into the swamp! 2. Ultimate Villains (Evil People/Murders/Criminals) Well the obvious Sarah and Zoe..two sensationalized stories which really seem to give the townspeople some scare. However i also liked the villians who targeted individual families. Robert during his torture of the Nash's and Corey for his vendetta that wasn't suspected against Irene. Finally Angie and Saul. Two great baddies who overall had an impact on everyone in some way. 3. Fight Scenes (Brawls, Scraps, Fisticuffs) Alf hitting Josh! A huge cheer rose in my house at the time. A great punch landed on a very deserving character. 4. Body Swaps (Same Actor, Different Character / Same Character, Different Actor) I really loved the second Pippa. Never really saw the first and when i saw a few old episodes she didnt leave much of an impression on me. I also think that the ginger Ailsa with the corny line about changing was hysterical, as was Flynns change! 5. Tear Jerking Moments (Funerals, Death, Accidents, Touching Moments) Theres many of these. Most noticeably i really liked the Flynn stuff. Not only when Sally found out but also when he was trying to tell people about why he has stopped the cancer treatment and the day with the race car. Charlotte drowing and the loss of the babies with the balloons being released into the air was another memorable period of time for me too. 6. Dark Secrets: I can't really think of any of these at the moment. I guess Amandas everything and Josh has been good in terms of dark secrets, and viewing- as much as i dislike the characters.Particular baby lies as well..such as Kirstys and Amandas, and people not telling their loved ones they had cancer! 7. Favourite Couples: Noah/Hayley I liked the fact that what you see was what you got. They were two people desperate to be in love and had hiccups which were true to life. Also despite not being a huge Kirsty Kane fan i like the fact there relationship was unconventional. Finally Kim and Zoe: For the sheer fact that he had no idea of her true feelings! Leah and Vinnie too- The V man rocked. 8. Dramatic Departures (the best deaths/disasters/goodbyes etc.)Angies was excellent. A great send off for Laurie the first time. Not necessarily dramatic as such, but i also really liked Fishers sendoff it was memorable, and brought the show round a circle. 9. Bad Girls (Bitches, Battle Axes, Harlots - not heavy duty villains) Josie i really liked and Angie. They had the potential to do a lot more yet we saw their redeeming qualities as well as the bad bits. Gypsy to an extent was also a great bitch. 10. Bad Boys (Hell-raisers, Jack the Lads, Drugs, Alcohol, School Bullies - not heavy duty villains) Diesel: A misguided child who played out a great storyline! Also Ric during his bullying days...i like the change in personality which was gradual! And another school boy...Woody i think who held the class hostage once! So please help and think of some of your favourite moments - trust me it will be worth it! Thankyou! On a slight sidetrack I also remember a storyline hazily but am not sure what it would come under and if the details are quite right so if someone could help me out it would be much appreciated: I think it was the diner being held hostage, sally got shot, and the harry and Shauna were hiding out in the bush but like i say i can't remember the details. Any ideas? Also on another sidenote my two favourite storylines have been Alfs brain tumor with the prediction and weird aboriginee guy, and Irenes illness! However for a comical moment i also remember Alf and Don walking on hot coals and i thought this was superb!

Body Swaps (Same Actor, Different Character / Same Character, Different Actor): the flynn-swap has to be the funniest, the new flynn walked in and all colleen said was 'i like your new hair-do' the rebecca cartwright to ella scott lynch swap - they look nothing alike! and finally, the josie-angie swap! Using the same actor for 2 'cousins'! Then they used a photo of tasha cloned as a picture of them as kids! 5. Tear Jerking Moments (Funerals, Death, Accidents, Touching Moments): Noah's death was heart-breaking, there are many more, but for me that is the most tear jerking! 6. Dark Secrets: the hayley/kim/scott love triangle, the countless attempts to destroy the bay through development, and many more! 7. Favourite Couples: Sally and Flynn, Hayley and Noah, Kirsty and Kane, Alf and Ailsa, Leah and Vinnie 8. Dramatic Departures (the best deaths/disasters/goodbyes etc.) All the Vinnie-moments! Vinnie's court scene, goodbye to leah in prison, fake death and sad letter to Leah at VJs birthday certainly a very sad goodbye 9. Bad Girls (Bitches, Battle Axes, Harlots - not heavy duty villains): Angie 10. Bad Boys (Hell-raisers, Jack the Lads, Drugs, Alcohol, School Bullies - not heavy duty villains): Ric, Diesel, Mikey (I think thats his name - he had a crush on sally? - not technically a bd boy though!) So please help and think of some of your favourite moments - trust me it will be worth it! Thankyou!

Fight Scenes (Brawls, Scraps, Fisticuffs): Steve and Dodge on the cliff-top. 5. Tear Jerking Moments (Funerals, Death, Accidents, Touching Moments): Shane's death. 6. Dark Secrets: I guess Brad being Chloe's rapist would fit here. 9. Bad Girls (Bitches, Battle Axes, Harlots - not heavy duty villains): Shannon when she tried to steal <shane from Angel.

Of the Older storylines there is the mudslide, and when Fisher's house got burnt down, and when Bobby died in a boating accident. 2. Ultimate Villains (Evil People/Murders/Criminals) Saul and Brad were the two who immediately sprang to mind for me……Robert was creepy……. Corey poisoning Irene.... and also there was Sarah shooting Noah…. Diana gunning for Chloe and later Irene…and Angie screwing with Nick’s head. 3. Fight Scenes (Brawls, Scraps, Fisticuffs) Stevo and Dodge…. Irene hitting Angie……Alf hitting Josh. Why can't I remeber any more?...ther must be more.... 4. Body Swaps (Same Actor, Different Character / Same Character, Different Actor) Pippa, Flynn, Irene…loved the second for all three….HYaley..I much preferred Ella to Bec...Ella brought more depth to the role... 5. Tear Jerking Moments (Funerals, Death, Accidents, and Touching Moments) When KK said good bye the first time……. when Dale died….. when Flynn died..... When Shane died….Colleen and Kane moment…… 6. Dark Secrets Brad turning out to be the rapist…Corey turning out to be a mass poisoner….Angie turning out to be Tasha’s mother….Barry killed his wife. 7. Favourite Couples: Shane and Angel….Leah and Vinnie….Sophie and Blake…Irene and Barry…..Alf and Ailsa……Sally and Flynn...Bobby and Frank... 8. Dramatic Departures (the best deaths/disasters/goodbyes etc.) Angie's walk of shame and her death…Noah’s death….KK’s departure… 9. Bad Girls (Bitches, Battle Axes, Harlots - not heavy duty villains) Josie!...Gypsy… 10. Bad Boys (Hell-raisers, Jack the Lads, Drugs, Alcohol, School Bullies - not heavy duty villains) Vinnie when he first arrived…Woody….Duncan…I can’t believe I just said that…
