There is possibly some things that as a publicist you don't want the public to hear about. The cast are at each others throats is probably something that you want to keep under wraps, cast members getting along with each other is something you want people to know about. I agree. I dont really want to hear what is going on in their private lives. Even though it may be interesting. But i would rather know them for the characters that they play. As the cast is not huge over here really, meaning in the media. The only people that know who they are, is the home and away fans.

It's always nice to know a bit about the face behind the character. I love knowing about the actors, because they are real people, not just things we see on tv 5 nights a week, they do normal things just like us, read the paper, watch the news, go to the cinema, bowling, drinking, etc.. They chose to be in the public eye, as any of us could be, they could get to know any of us if they want or need to.
TabbyCool Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 I prefer not being famous, that way I can go out to the cinema or bowling without everyone watching to say who I'm there with, what I do and comment on how bad I look when I'm drunk. Celebrtities are human too, they do normal things like everyone else. I wouldn't be interested to see an article in the newspaper about some random unknown leaving their house, so why should a celebrity be any more interesting? I enjoy watching the show and seeing the characters on the show, but what they do in their own lives is their own business and I don't see why it is of interest to people really.

However, there's also an interview with Mark on the 7 site & it says he lives with Chris there too, but there is an article with him in the Daily Telegraph & he does say he lives with Jon in that. Strange, all the chopping & changing they do. I'd be happy to move in with Mark anytime he needs another flatmate, lol.
