James Martin Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Weetabix appear to have taken over sponsorship of Home & Away on Five in the UK with some very interesting ads!
Ryan Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 I do like the chocolate ones, a handful makes a nice snack. Let's hope they last longer than KFC, a meal incidentally I've never had. It won't surprise you either to hear that I've never used Bodyform either. Does anyone remember the bodyform advert from the eighties with this skinny woman suddenly starts singing like an obese black woman.
Si-Co Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 Aaaaaaaaagggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh, Bodyform! Body-formed for you... The sort of song you start singing as you're walking around college or work then suddenly think 'Oops'.
James Martin Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 Aaah the memories. 1989 it was. Laughable.
Liz Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 This has to be the worst the worst sponsor ads yet. No wonder anybody I talk to thinks that H&A is laughbale.
Nicom Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 I think the weetabix ones are quite funny! I didn't like the KFC ones because they always made me hungry. lol

A male friend of mine actually went into HMV, and asked for the body foam single. It was years ago.
princess_in_pink Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 my lord. was that body form sponser annoying or what?!?!?!?!?!? i hated it, and the song was annoying!! i like the new sponser, they bring a humor to the show.

You're not missing much Ryan! I've had KFC twice, both times it gave me stomach cramps. I think it's all the lard! My friends said the chicken burgers there were "juicy", it's not juicy, just dripping with fat! Fruit is juicy, chicken burgers that ooze fat is just heart attacks in a sandwich!
