Irish Fan Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Kim proposes to Rachel: Monday 16th October 2006 Firstly I thought the whole Kim/Rachel, moving in, getting engaged, career prospect, leavin' Summer Bay idea was too rushed. It happened to quickly, one event after another. Didn't like it one bit! First Rachel doesn't really wanna move in as it's a big step and now she's grinning like a chesire cat when Kim asks her to marry him. Then that senior doctor happening to arrive on the same day, in a matter of hours with a "once in a lifetime" proposal. Unrealistic! In my opinion, Rachel dump Kim, and start doing booty calls Next up was the fab storyline invloving Kitty/Amanda & Belle. It has had me hooked and biting my nails for the past couple of days. Geraldine is doing a great job as Kitty and very belivable. Can't wait for it all to blow out in the open, I'm guessing Belle's reaction will be explosive. Didn't like the actor who played Belle's stepdad, he was just so plain and unremarkable really. The big question on my lips however is: Who is Belle's real father? Peter Baker perhaps????? Stranger things have happened! Colleen was good again today, I love the way she puts her foot in it and her facial expressions after her infamous line: "Oh you didn't know"! Hee Hee! Overall good episode! Going to record the rest of the weeks episodes as they're bound to be brill. Ben (Irish Fan) P.S. When's Kit's return? Tomorrow?

I know who Eve's accomplice is, but (eve)n if I didn't I would have so copped it from today's episode. Kitty, lying again to Dan, and then not telling Amanda the truth after such a heartfelt moment! I felt sorry for Amanda again today. The poor woman. Peter was looking dashing today! All that talk about some mob that's after him and his boss wants him to go into hiding! Exciting Stuff.... Cannot wait for tommorrow: THE BIG EVENT IS COMING! BRING IT ON! Yipeeeeeeeee Irish Fan (Ben)

~Angel~ Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 I can't wait for 6:30 tonight on RTE 2. Jack and Martha's Wedding!!!!!!!!!!!! I was at school so I didn't get to see it earlier. I'm recording it. And tomorrows the result of the explosion. i'm so excited and Happy.
Irish Fan Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Zoe's Explosive Revenge: 18th October 2006 What a let down! The whole wedding took up most of the episode and it was so boring! I didn't see the point of Macca turning up! Of course I was on the edge of my seat when Zoe(Eve) came flying through the door, curls flowing with Tracey gaged! It ended too soon in my opinion! We should have gotten more of a hostage/siege! Zoe should have had a gun and started shooting people and then wham: massive explosion and everyone screaming! The episode could have been much more dramatic. In saying all this I can't wait for tommorrow where we'll see more horror and devastation. Looking forward to Amy Matthew's acting and watching who-ever dies.

Though maybe thats because I read the spoilers months ago and knew what was going to happen! Amy Matthews was brilliant in today's episode. Best actress on the show. One question: Why were there candles on the cake? Any wedding I've been to there haven't been candles!
Irish Fan Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 The Horrific Aftermath: 19th October 2006 What an episode. I loved every minute of it, 100 times better than yesterday's episode! Loved the way when Elaine was dying they panned to Rachel and then it faded to white three times before she died as Rachel, Kim and Elaine were all shown in slow moition. Brilliant editing, excellent camera work and superb directing! Overall - 9 out of 10. Rachel (Amy Matthews) was amazing as was Dan - his silence all the way through until he broke down. Tony - we don't care about "Kate"! Also liked the way they didn't have the credits, it would have taken away from the massive impact! Poor Peter, Elaine, Dan, Leah & Rachel. ~ Irish Fan (Ben)
