Current Episodes In Ireland

can i just ask, are irish viewers behind english viewers? for some reason i assumed that we had the same episodes on the same days. when's h&a on for irish viewers ie. what times? and if you're behind, by how much? i don't want to say where we are in england in case i spoil something!!

RTE in Ireland are one episode behind Five in the UK effective August 2007.

RTE used to be only 3 or 4 episodes behind Seven in Australia, and at one stage in 2000 had over-taken Seven by 2 or 3 episodes by accident. However, Five have now negotiated a European premiere for the show so RTE must not get ahead of Five, and if they take a break from the show - RTE must follow suit!

Home and Away is screened Mon-Fri @ 1.25pm on RTE One and that same episode is repeated at 6.30pm on RTE Two. The Encore/Omnibus is screened on Saturday(2 episodes) & Sunday(3 episodes) on RTE Two around midday.

Hope this gives you some of an idea on the history of the show in Ireland!

Did anyone else notice in yesterdays episode Jack said that he & Sam didnt leave their room very much on their honeymoon "if you know what I mean! " yet in the episode before that he said that the 3 of them had a lovely time it was nice for them to be together as a family....

I think he was just cracking one of those silly "naughty" jokes people do when they come back from their honeymoon.

Second day in a row, I have cried at Home and Away! I have black rolling down my face from my mascara :P Great scenes with Miles and Sally tonight

This is about my fifth time watching this episode and as much as I love the story, two things kept annoying me tonight. First of all, how did Miles know that Sally thought Milco was imaginary? It was just taken for granted he knew. Secondly, why did Sally grow up thinking it was spelt M-I-L-C-O? She was only three when they were seperated so she couldn't possibley have known how to spell.

What a week in H&A, Ive watched the show pretty much since the start and I have to say we got some of the best ever episodes in the last week!

Something else I didnt get is how come Sally's mother never tried to get Miles back? Especially since his dad was an alcoholic and why she never told Sally about Miles.
