Catching the Flowers

As you probably know, though I wouldn't put it past some of you to be ignorant of the fact after a wedding it is traditional that the flowers are thrown by the bride and she who catches is supposedly next married. Is there any pattern that shows this happening in H&A?

Hayley's Wedding - Dani Sutherland (engaged and split with Scott in the following months)

Leah's Wedding

Dani caught the bouquet (flowers) at Hayley's wedding and then split up with Scott ....so ,no, there's no pattern as far as I can see.

Patterns do tend follow more than occasion though.

I'll try and keep track of it in the first post.

Dani is the only one I can remember catching the bouquet ....now I'm intrigued as to who else caught it in the other weddings.

Maybe in Summer Bay catching the bouquet means splitting up rather than being the next one to get hitched. It would be funny if there was a pattern to it , even if it was unintentional by the writers!

Selina caught the bouquet at Angel's wedding, but she wasn't next to get married.

Erm, I can't remember any others.

Oh yeah, Lance caught the bouquet at Bobby and Frank's wedding!

Irene caught the bluquet at Sally and Flynn's wedding...then she and Paris split up a few weeks later. Hayley and Scott caught the bouquet and the garter at Leah and Dan's wedding, A few weeks later Hayley and Kim got engaged, although Hayley and Scott do end up together ....but then again Leah and Dan have split.

What is it with weddings in Summer Bay? Jinxed or what? I feel very sorry for the person who catches Tashas bouquet next week! I bet Beth catches it.
