cool-chick Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 I have never noticed that i will look out for it though.
tessa305 Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Going off topic now but personally I don't think it matters how you wear it. It's the exhanging of rings at the wedding ceremony that's important - it symbolises the promises they have made to each other. So it shouldn't matter if you wear the ring on your hands, feet, round your neck... whatever. I totally agree, i was merely making an observation and it got me wondering.
ste Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 I know you were. Like I said I was going off-topic. It wasn't in direct response to you
Liz Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 blarg, does it matter!! Somebody probably thinks that about every topic created on this board. If we acted on those opinions, we wouldn't have any discussion. Personal opinion: the hand isn't important. What matters is the sentiment and meaning of the ring.
MarMar Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Personal opinion: the hand isn't important. What matters is the sentiment and meaning of the ring. But when it comes to this thread, is it the hand that's important.
Liz Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Has anybody ever noticed which hand the other characters use?
ste Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 No, but I've noticed Sally wears her watch backwards (with the clock face on the inside of her wrist rather than outside).
MarMar Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 I've known many people to do that - it's supposed to mean you're married.
ste Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Was that in response to me? Wow that was quick! I'd hardly clicked "send"!
