Marc EH Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Did anyone else notice the mistake in Mondays Home and Away? When Sally was making a suitcase of goodies to give to Flynn, Colleen gave her some "Euros" that Leah had left over from her trip to Cyprus. One problem - Cyprus use the Cyprian pound and not Euros! You think Leah might have noticed LOL
TabbyCool Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 I didn't realise Cyprus didn't use Euros, I just assumed that what was on the show was correct and didn't give it a second thought. Do Greece use Euros now, or do they still use Drachma?
AngelRose Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 What caught my attention about this was how Colleen said "Euros". was that a Colleen-ism, or is it said differently in Aus? It's normally said like the start of Europe, isn't it?
ste Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 Yeah we say Euro the same we we say Europe. Maybe in Australia they say "oo-ro" or maybe that was just a Colleenism.
ste Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 I think so too. We should start a colleen-ism thread to add to everytime she says something like that.
AngelRose Posted March 8, 2006 Report Posted March 8, 2006 That's a fabulous idea! You should do the honours.
x..kt..x Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 I loved the way she said euro, it made me chuckle!
