Any way, I was on character profiles and I was reading and some of the things they say are really mean and I think not true. For example... About Jack... 'the ego has landed...is one conceited copper ...he's way too big for his policeman's boots.' Now I am a big fan of Jack and therefore biased but I would never he was big headed or too proud of himself. I just don't get it... About Martha... 'nobody loves her more than she loves herself. A bloke can barely look her in the eye without her assuming that he's about to get down on bended knee and ask to spend the rest of his years by her side. None of them are, of course, ever good enough for her - but she'll give one or two of them a try anyway.' Since when has Martha been in love with herself? Just reading it I was like OMG. And the thing about the marriage thing, I don't think thats remotely true. With both Jack and Jesse it was just a fun relationship and nothing serious. Humm... Again I was like OMG. About Alf 'Alf is soap's ultimate curmudgeon and the long-suffering miseryguts of Summer Bay.' Slightly harsh don't you think? I haven't read the rest of the characters becuase I was appaled at how mean it was. I think character descriptions should give an accurate view to the audience. As I think it's mostly new comers who read the character things, I think it makes them think something completely different of the characters. I don't understand why someone would describe them as that. Am I just being stupid here or do people agree? P.S. Sorry if this is posted anywhere else, I havn't seen it so I thought I'd point it out. Apologies if it is.

The thing is that the people who write about H&A in the papers and on so called official sites often don't actually watch the show. Even the announcers betray their lack of knowledge by saying something totally inaccurate from time to time!

And Jesse and Martha were a very jokey relationship, and so was Jack and Martha (even though they ended up more serious and really cool together and then she had to go and get mardy and spoil it and then be really mean to Jack and why would you be mean to Jack he's like really fit and cool and.. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that coneited? Anyway the Five website is very tongue-in-cheek. Get over it
