magbeth73 Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 After watching tonight's episode of H & A, I thought it might be nice to start a thread paying homage to the one and only Alf Stuart. How amazin' was he with Flynn and Sally?! How many times axactly has Alf come to the rescue for Summer Bay? The man's a general wonder and if wish he were my grandad!!
AngelRose Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 Alf was amazing tonight - he knew what NOT to say - he knew to just be. Important & powerful stuff; well done Ray/Alf!
home and away fan Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 Without Alf home and away could never be the same. When you say home and away the first names that come to your mind are Alf and Sally and he is like a father to her. Long live Alf and all his sayings!
magbeth73 Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 Y'know, it never really occurs to me that Alf will HAVE to be killed off eventually! Alas, he can't live forever! That will definately be the saddest storyline ever!
claire_louise Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 Not necessarily, he could always do a Donald and move away. There would have to be a very good reason to get him to leave the bay though...maybe a new love interest? Or even an old flame - I always liked him with Maureen. Alf is a legend, but I wouldn't want to be related to him. He's not the greatest dad in the world!
buffygirl Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 I know Alf was a total support tonight as he often is well grounded will help out in rescue time and is the bottom line of reason..mostly to keep the town together as a unit when a crises threaten them.
spacey Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 Indeed, Alf's character is great. I was gutted I couldn't get tickets for when Ray was in pantomine near to where I lived. I just wanted to see he how good he was going to be!
carrie_ann Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 I love alf his cracter is so good and strong minded . He knows what to say in a crisses
-Emily- Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 I like Alf, he knows what to do when something goes wrong and 'strike me flamin' lucky' one of my favourite expressions.
home and away fan Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 he has always been there for everyone when there has been a crisis or som other disaster and I hope he will be there for many years to come
