nenehcherry2 Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 I think that Dalby started out a lot like Tug and the way Mattie was with him reminded me of Bobby with Tug (although Mattie is NOTHING like Bobby). I also think that Sally has definately become Vanessa Downing's version of Pippa, or is at least heading that way. All in all, I think that soap characters are very unique but can anyone else see any other similarities??? Someone else suggested Robbie being like Damian a while back on here - erm, no!!!!!!!
myken Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 I can see the Ric/Tug similarity from when Dalby first came to tha bay, but Bobby was older than Tug, and Matilda is not older than Ric. And Bobby took Tug in, Matilda could never have done that considering she is just a schoolgirl. So I`m not so sure of the similarity between Bobby and Matilda. Can I ask how old you are since it looks like you`ve seen the show from the beginning, meaning 18 years? I haven`t though.
nenehcherry2 Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 I'm 18 - started to get into the show when I was about 5, around the time of Lou, Ryan and Nick. Caught up on what I missed via repeats etc... I didn't mean there was a similarity between Bobby and Mattie's ages or characters - I mean there were similarities in the way they both helped Tug / Rick and stood up for them against the rest of Summer Bay.
