James Martin Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 I'm sorry about it, but when Sally takes the photo of the pope out of the bay it has me in tears....of laughter. I liked the fact they used John Paul II, the fact that he was dead and his death was expected for a while this time last year provided a very nice parallel I thought.

I'm more interested in why Holly Brisley doesn't have nudity clause in her contract. All the women in the Footballer's Wives cast do.

ste Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 I watched the episodes when they first went out in Aus and watched them again today. Both times I felt the second episode with Sally crying on the rocks was much sadder than the previous with her collapsing in Flynn's arms. I think the silent ending with just music and no speech is what makes it stand out in people's minds, but in my opinion the scene with Sally collapsing to the ground in tears at the beach was much sadder.
