Oh my god last nights episode was so sad!! when Flynn cried on the beach it made me cry too...ooh dear i fear we have many more tears to cry over the next few months! :(

I am sure we going to have quite a lot of tears to shed over the naxt three months especially at the end.

I thought last nights episode was so sad very well acted especially on the emotional front from all three characters involved.

I can't belive how much my feeling of Flynn has changed these past few months, he used to annoy me but as i said for a while now i've warmed to the character.

oh my god buffygirl i totally agree with you, i was never really that keen on flynn's character but just lately i too have really warmed to him especially this week with such greatly acted emotional scenes...

lets get to the shops and buy those tissue boxes by the bulk load hee hee

I see your point^^^, Flynn goes along for a school debate on awarness of, affects of the sun and skin, and gets to act as a ginny pig and the doc , ets as we know..

What i'm saying i agree with the fact that it was rushed in retro -respect it would have had it taken a day- After the inital examination see him try the double check of the normal emotion omg , when he came home i don't quite know what i expected.

Tuesdays ep is going down as one of my faves, as Kate, Joel + Ray's acting was some of the best i've seen ever. I couldn't stop crying especially when Sally told Flynn ''you are my everything my whole life what am i going to do without you'' also when she said about him breaking his wedding vows (which i think is how people in that situation would react) was done well, + Flynn falling to his knees on the beach was very sad, also when Alf came through the door + looked at Sally + she got up and hugged him, showed how much they are there for each other and always will be. This whole ep was very moving and that is because it was written brilliantly.

I'm with *CJ* "you're my life, my whole world" I couldnt move, it felt like I was the one loosing someone! I also thought that Alf was fantastic!

That, in my oppinion, goes down as PURE GOLD........ you dont get acting like that on most soaps.....guess it just shows that Home and Away isn't "most soaps"

I keep thinking about them - as Alf obviously is too. I think bring-back-bobbi is right, the sequence of scenes in that episode, including where Flynn tells Sally and then Alf, must be right up there with the very best (in terms of the story, the very worst) of all time. They weren't in the next two episodes and I was dying (sorry - couldn't resist) to get back to them and see what was going on.

Not to turn the conversation to Neighbours too much in here, but, it's almost freaky how Alex died this week, just as Flynn gets his news, as when a few months ago, the H&A stalker was finally revealed and Neighbours had their 20th anniversary the same day! While I quite like Susan and Alex, I'm afraid his death didn't really move me all that much, and not anything like how Flynn's story already has. I'm trying to work out why, guessing it's a combination of things, that I've "known" Sally for many years, grown up with her, not merely a few months as with Alex, that Flynn is so much younger with everything ahead of him, and that I very much like Joel. I suspect the writing and acting on H&A is superior too.

I've been reading back some of the excellent "coming soon" previews on this site and am I forgetting bits or are there a couple of minor discrepancies? From 4054: "Irene grabs a fry-pan when a voice calls out – Irene, are you home? It’s Corey with all of his bags, ready to move in." Did Corey appear and call out to Irene? Plus I don't think Sally held Flynn after his first session of chemo, didn't she just watch from the doorway?

Random question: was there anything special - Italian? - about the cup in the Italian suitcase which got hurled across the lounge?

Been wishing Flynn could have been given longer, six months, a year, however that would have dragged it out too long, so three months is probably, sadly, about right. However, in terms of his life, and the short time we, and Sally, have left to spend with him, it seems like nothing at all. (I think he's going to die right before my birthday too.)

Isn't it special when Flynn calls Sally "sweetheart"? It's just the way he says it or something. We've occasionally seen that closeness between them - and I'm sure they call one another that frequently when we're not there! - but it really adds to a scene.

I can't imagine a better way for a character/Joel to leave, if you're going to go for good, there's hardly a more memorable storyline to do it with. I demand a "red button" for interactive content so we can select which characters we want to watch continuously. :) Ah well, looking forward to their next scenes anyway!
