I'm with *CJ* "you're my life, my whole world" I couldnt move, it felt like I was the one loosing someone! I also thought that Alf was fantastic!

That, in my oppinion, goes down as PURE GOLD........ you dont get acting like that on most soaps.....guess it just shows that Home and Away isn't "most soaps"

I'm sorry about it, but when Sally takes the photo of the pope out of the bay it has me in tears....of laughter.

When does Rik and Cassie find out about Flynn? Or do they not tell them. Will Summer Bay find out about Flynn dying?

I partly agree about other storylines intruding (I could certainly live with less Amanda &/or Scott), but even the most serious stoylines need some breaks of/for 'light relief' or we'd all be in an even worse state than we will be by then anyway.

You might not want to watch by the time you get into the 2006 season then as there are many single storyline episodes.

Oh I don't mind single storyline episodes as long as they're well written & you don't get say, an entire week with no hint of light relief whatsoever.

I am sure we going to have quite a lot of tears to shed over the naxt three months especially at the end.

I thought last nights episode was so sad very well acted especially on the emotional front from all three characters involved.

I can't belive how much my feeling of Flynn has changed these past few months, he used to annoy me but as i said for a while now i've warmed to the character.

To quote myself, I've never had terminal cancer before, but isn't that sort of how it happens.

You find a lump/mole, you have it checked out , they tell you what the situation is.

Yes, but that doesn't all happen in the space of a few days. It only takes two episodes (if you don't count the stupid dream predictions, which I don't) for Flynn to go from being perfectly fine and healthy to having just a few months to live. Ok, so he's a doctor and could probably hurry his test results along, but how fast can these things go?!

Cancer, when it gets hold of you, can go through your whole body, in a very short time. Flynn has what is called second cancer. Due to he has it in three places, his skin, liver , and brain. So he will not be able to fight it off in a soap, as in true life you would not live long with that.

Yeah I get that, but it isn't the speed that he dies that I don't like, it's the speed of him discovering his illness. Last Thursday we had no idea that anything was wrong, but by Monday he had 3 months to live. Like I said, a doctor could probably get pushed to the front of the queue with test results etc, but it still wouldn't have happened that fast. It just felt a bit rushed and out of the blue, and I think it would have been better if there'd been a bit of build up.

Aside from that, I think the storyline is going really well. Unfortunately, the scenes to do with Hayley/Scott/Kim/the baby/the wedding just look even more crap in comparison.
