Okay, I'm still writing what happened with Angie and Josie as kids in Rock Me Gently, but I'm also quite keen on the idea of writing about Sally's childhood next. As I didn't watch H&A then, can anyone provide any info for me?

How old was Sally's character when she first came to the Bay?

Did Pippa and Michael adopt her? Did they have any other kids then? And if so what ages and were they adopted or their own?

I remember reading Sally's parents drowned in a tragic accident. Can anyone tell me exactly what happened?

Does anyone know the age difference between Sally and Kane Phillips? (If the age difference isn't too great I want to include the Phillips brothers in the story if I can as, being right little so-and-sos, they're always fascinating to write about )

Just another quick question and, fingers crossed, I'll have an update by the weekend. Did ppl in Summer Bay usually refer to Tom and Pippa's foster kids by their original surnames (ie Sally Keating, Frank Morgan etc) or did they usually just call them Sally Fletcher, Frank Fletcher etc? Thanks. I know it's just a minor thing but I want to get the scenes right.

Sally Fletcher only became Sally Fletcher when Pippa and Tom adopted her.

No other fostered children changed their name, and so were not known as Fletcher.

SUMMARY: Eight-year-old Sally Keating, who witnessed her parents' death in a tragic boating accident, arrives in Summer Bay almost by accident when her older friend Lynn is fostered by Pippa and Tom Fletcher and refuses to be parted from her.

But Sally has a lot of emotional baggage. Mum and Dad, Gran, friends Isabel and Rico, neighbour Mrs Bellamy and her two funny cats...everybody leaves her in the end. To compensate, she has created an imaginary friend, Milko, who can never be taken from her...or can he?

When the notorious Phillips brothers Kane and Scott (who have their own dark secrets in their homelife) “kidnap” Milko from the school playground and hold him to ransom, Sally’s problems really begin. Bullied by foster brother Steven, losing out on Lynn’s friendship to foster sister Carly, clinging to superstition and afraid to show emotion, Sally feels all alone in a hostile world...

Also, can someone tell me more about Pippa and Tom now? I think I'm okay now with the info you've given me about Steven, Carly, Lyn and Lance, but all I know about Pippa and Tom is that they were foster parents so I've assumed they were nice, caring people who had a particular rapport with kids, especially teenagers. But did they have any problems themselves? Did Tom have a trade before they ran the caravan park? I'd really like to know more about their personalities rather than what they looked like.
