Sunny Girl Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Can I be a nuisanc again and ask if you or anyone knows what age Steven was?
ste Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Wow I thought he was 15/16 at the start of the show.
I love music Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 Thanks for your help, everyone, you're brilliant. ) I'm just working on how Sally met Milko now, so if anyone ever wondered what Milko looked like you'll find out in the next chapter! :oD
I love music Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Thank you! I'm out Saturday and need to catch up on boring stuff like housework, shopping and ironing Fri, but I'll be doing some writing tonight - where I should be now instead of on line! ;o) - and hope I'll be able to post the next chapter on Sunday. )
I love music Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 Sorry, I didn't get very much done last night after all as my friend rang me and we were on the phone a long time! But when I've got washing, ironing etc done tonight I'll try and do some writing later, I'm still aiming for an update Sunday. Thanks for the info on Steven. I don't want to bring too many other characters into the story as this is a Sally - and Milko!!! ;o)) - fic, but I like the idea of Steven and his background with the fire, he's definitely on the fic cast list! )
I love music Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 Can anyone help me out again? I'm working on what happened with Steven the night of the fire and I'm not sure of Australian expressions. In the UK we'd say something like the fire engines were there or the firemen put the fire out but when I looked up Australian slang it said "firees" for firemen. Is that the word ppl generally use or do they say something else? ps No funny answers, like they just yell fire!!! ;o)
Sunny Girl Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Yeah I guess it is something we would say but more as a slang term or a colloquialism.
