Have you written anything over there ??? I can't see anything by writers that I know, and it seems a bit overwhelming ....

Stop putting off posting it!!!! :P But if you didn't want to post there, I saw a thread on this site saying someone was starting/had started a site with a mixture of original fiction and fanfiction. It was in General Chat, I'm sure someone will remember it.

Yes, under "I Still Love Music" but I deleted a lot of stuff so there's only a (long) story and poem there. I can't seem to write short stories! I hope there's a few Frank fans out there because I've got very carried away writing about him and it's a looong story so looks like the next chapter will be entirely about Frank.

Aargh! I can't stand bad grammar! That should have read: "I hope there are a few Frank fans out there because I got a bit carried away writing about him and it's a looong story so looks like the next chapter will be entirely about Frank..."

My excuse is, I have a lot on my mind, it's the umissable big BB night Friday and I've been invited to a barbecue same night and I don't know what I want to do...

Can't wait for an update then! Bring on tomorrow ...

If I ever do decide to put it up on one of the sites, I'll let you know ... At least I'm sure of having one reader !!! I'm just deciding whether or not I'd prefer to have it published by some real publishers as an actual book and if I publish it on the internet, there is no way that any publishing company would actually take a even look at it ...

Try and get paid for it if you can. I don't know who said the quote "Writing is like prostitution, first you do it for love, then for a few friends and then for money" but sooo true!!!

Let me know what happens. It's v.v.v.difficult to get a book published, even J K Rowling's Harry Potter was turned down by several publishers. Maybe you could try sending a synopsis to a magazine? I don't know what sort of story you've written but if it's emotional/family or romance D C Thomson are v.good, you'll find their requirements for different mags on the net. Have to go off line as I'm taking sister's kids out and promised I'd be there soon. See you tomorrow. :D

For anyone following, I've now posted Chapter 11.

I got v.v.carried away writing about Frank tho... The shock ending I had in mind for Sally has had to be postponed till the next chapter. And I WILL get round to Sally/Lance scenes eventually, it's just, as you probably noticed, I tend to ramble a lot... :P

Nothing at all wrong with rambling. :P Keep your fic going as long as you like, I'm sure there'll be very few complaints!

SKYKAT's right ... there won't be any complaints from me. String it out as long as you can ...I'm loving it!!!

How you mentioned that publisher, D C Thomson, are they based in the UK?? If so, I might give some Australian publishers a try first, but then again, first I need to finish writing the thing !!!
