Bec is an unusual shortening of the name, usually it's Becky, Becca or Bex.

I'm not so sure about that.... My names Rebecca and i have never once been called Becca and especially not Bex? I was called Becky as a child but go by Bec now because it sounds less formal. When i call people for work etc though i go by Rebecca.

Yeah i'm pretty sure she has changed her name to Hewitt....

my sisters name is rebecca and she hates it she only goes by bec
