They both have really good acting skills but I have to say I prefer Bec. She was just so happy and lively!

I loved Bec's Hayley as we had the history with the character which we didn't have with Ella's Hayley, she was like an imposter. Plus Bec played her for so much longer so she is more associated with the role.

I would have to say Ella. I really warmed to her and she was a fantastic actress. I liked Bec too, dont get me wrong, but I preferred Ella.

Id have to say bec recasting a chracter after one actress has played them so long is always very hard to adjust to no offence to ella she did a great job espeically during the storyline irene went off her rocker as corey poisoned her. But its like when nancy hayes was bought in to play ailsa briefly in judy nunns absence when a character is replaced by another actress after years it is so hard to adopt the change

Rebecca Cartwright is far away the better Hayley. Ella was pretty good, it would have been better if she had played a totally new character.
