It didn't seem right for me having a completely different actress play Hayley. I guess it was a good idea having the total opposite to Bec, but still didn't warm up to her. Also there was no point getting a new Hayley just for 3 months! They should have ended her story when Bec left to add more emotion. Bring back Bec!
Pete4Leah Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Hard to say because Ella was only in the show for such a short time and we've known Becs as Hayley right from the start. If we were comparing the two actresses based on equal time in the show I'd have to say Ella but I guess I'm gonna have to go with Bex for now because she has played Hayley for such a long time. In saying that though I think Ella should've been cast as Hayley right from the start. She was brilliant.

Bec was my favorite and one thing i found really strange was ella talking about missing Noah and how she thinks about him everyday! It didnt seem right, Its like a whole new character, especailly when she is sitting talking with kit! Yes, that was the same with me!

aejdude Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 I know what a couple of others mean when they say she was begginning to get very samey because it did feel like it. I think Ella has grown on me, but like other people i don't really see her as hayley but as a new character i realised when i watched Irene going into hospital, don't get me wrong ella acted well but i had forgot that she was so close to Irene as i was thinking about her being a different character. I think Ella is a better actress, but i like rebecca better. I think i would have chosen Ella also if she had played her from the start.
